No. You need 1 working key.

keysinthepost.com do them if you are in the UK. they can cut the key from a photo of the blade. they have done 10+ for me with no problems.

Thank you Simon. I am in the US, but I have sent them an inquiry.

UPDATE!! The cheap £18.99 ebay key has stopped working with a flat battery and will not recharge from the ignition. This proves the questionable battery is not rechargeable. As such i can only recommend the slightly more expensive key from autotoolscan.com. I have been using this key for nearly a year daily with no problems now.

What is the iid tool in the car?

What is the scanner model and brand?

Is this a regular version of the tool or a "pro" version. Reason I ask is that I need that key programming option if I buy it. If it works great but if it does not program my key it is still worth having.

Both regular and pro versions program keys. The difference is the pro version is unlocked to all vehicles. Where the regular version has programming features locked to your own registered vehicle by the vin number.

Ok thanks. Not sure why some people here are saying it did not work for them. All I'm doing is buying a key with a blank transponder from eBay for $20 bucks and utilizing my "working key" that I have now to make a copy. I do know that all Land Rover keys in the US transmit on 313mhz and in Europe I think is 433mhz so communicating with it should be standard.

like Simon C said.. u have to had a original key to able new keys in.. but i need buy virgin keys to able add in.........all china keys will not work not able in for this procedures...

The app is useless unless you own an iid tool from GAP Diagnostics.

hi , great video, thanks I'm trying to buy the key but the link you have for the ebay shows a different circuit board

a second hand key cannot be paired with another vehicle. you need a new virgin key.
