@@Zamarae just like in the 1939 movie
The first Dorothy in the Kansas scenes was fantastic. She even looked very much like Judy Garland. The costumes were spot on. My brother and I would have loved this place when we were little since we both loved The Wizard of Oz. Back then, it was only shown in tv once a year. It was a national holiday in our house next to Christmas, Halloween and birthdays.
The actors, costumes and settings are amazing. This is truly a top notch production.
Jacob whispering rosebud with the snow globe always makes me smile!

"I'd rather have fun than have a brain" Spoken like a doctor of thinkology!
This was hilarious. And someone put a lot of time and effort getting the park and shows together. But please get Dorothy a much smaller Toto haha

I notice that too lol 😆
Ok IMO, this is hands down best dedication to a park experience besides the franchise parks
The scarecrow is precious! They all did a great job.

My god the characters and costumes are absolutely stunning... Dorothy and the Tin man were mind blowing! Flying bicycles at the start were a nice touch too 😂

Wow the man is here
Glad to know they are doing the ski lift again. They used it in 2012, but went back to busses in 2013, and I haven been back since. The ski lift just makes the experience so much better.
The actors were all really good and talented, so expressive.
Wow they've really spruced this place up over the years. It's looking great!
wow the actors are just perfection, what a great event.

Yeah they did so wonderful in their acting as the characters and I enjoy it.
I went here as a child when it was in it's heyday. Then I did the Autumn at Oz a few years back. It's so wonderful to see someone trying to bring back the original magic! Hope to make it up there next year as I live in NC. Thanks for posting!
The actors are amazing. Ive always loved the wizard of oz. I must go!
I really wanna visit this place! Loving all the Actors!!!!!
21:50 that flying monkey is adorable! They did a wonderful job, it was precious!
I always love seeing this place again. I've only been there once, the first summer it opened, i was 7.Glad to see that most of the stuff is still there. When I went , the characters , apart from Dorothy, all had big character heads. I did get to ride on the hot air balloon ride and was handed some Emerald City glasses as you walked thro the city gates(basically cardboard 3D specs with red and green lenses) . Seeing the finale indoors was much nicer . The original show was in a huge outdoor theater and you couldn't see the wizards head very well because of the brightness. Thank you again , Jacob!
I went there in the 70’s when was a little girl. Have pictures still lol. Remember it quite well. The tornado noise was really loud as I recall and very similar if not same setup as now. Actors are on point!!! Really nostalgic. Thanks!
“Biking down a mountain…who’da ever think to ride a bike down a mountain? That’s crazy!” Ha! Love this guy.
😂😂😂 “Oh, my gosh! The quilt has been slightly rustled off the bed.” Yeah, that was some tornado, huh?
Thank you for this return to my childhood in the summer of 1978! It's fantastic to see it back in operation, even if on a limited basis. It's in much better shape than I expected.
Nice, they do a fantastic job. I was more impressed than I expected to be. My step-dad loves Wizard of Oz and as I've grown older, there is a lot of nostalgia. Thank you for taking me to a theme park I didn't know existed 💜
The actors did such a good job! I love the Wizard of Oz!
Can’t wait for Haunt Season with The Carpetbagger next month! Let the air compressed cannons, clowns, and screaming like a girl begin! 🎃☠️

Actors did a good job! I couldn't do that... I tip my hat to them.
Now I'm gonna age myself and say I went to this as a child. I believe around 4/5. I have pics somewhere. It was so amazing.

Me too! A few of the spots shown I have photos of. What a wonderful walk down a yellow-bricked memory lane!
23:21 that is literal high quality comedy right there.
Looked like a lot of fun. It was my daughter's favorite movie while growing up. She would have loved this.💕
Amazing blog, this place should reopen all year long, I’d pay some money to see it!! Coolest part was you interacting with the scarecrow!!
This has been significantly improved some the last time you visited with your daughter. Thanks for sharing again!
I’m so excited for this!!!! I found your channel not to long ago, but I’m absolutely loving it!!

Yes this place does look amazing, I would love to go there and I agree the actors are amazing in their roles I means it completely makes you feel like you're in the classic movie of the wizard of oz from MGM in 1939.
Back in 98 my wife and I rented that house for a few days. It was in winter so we could ski from the property. Nice to see it up and running.
That was so good Jacob. What a great group of actors. Thanks as always 👍🇬🇧
Wow, those actors! There were times when they captured the gestures, facial expressions, and sounds of the movie characters perfectly! The Wicked Witch & the Cowardly Lion were particularly good.
Wow. It looks beautiful there. The colors are so bright and fresh. They do a wonderful job.
I wished I could visit Oz! The place is magical.
I took my son and niece there in the 1970’s. Would love to go back!
Thanks for taking "your magic box" there so we could see this!
How much fun…its like a walk-through, interactive play!
I had no idea this was this Well put togethor. This is like a Broadway play!
Loved visiting in 1971-72 as a wee kid. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video!
19:19 HE SOUNDS JUST LIKE BERT LAHR IN THE MOVIE! That was phenomenal. But seriously, the witch laugh when you left the farmhouse after landing in Oz was pure nightmare fuel. But still spot on! You seem like such a joy to be around! I really wish I could go here. Thanks for sharing!
That's quite a big place too go round the brilliant wizard of oz 👌
I love the witches laugh, so cool. Great video, thank you

Yes, she really nailed that laugh! Whoever did the casting did a good job. I wish that the Tin Man had more of the child-like tone of Jack Haley.
The performers are incredible!

That was really well done. I am a 35 year old child and I enjoyed that play.
Love that you wore red crocs. I need to visit this place it looks amazing and the actors are amazing especially the witch
omg i didn't even know they had this place. I love the wizard of oz it's one of my favorite movies. Judy garland was amazing such a fan of her's. I've liked the musical wicked as well which is based of the wizard of oz. it's one of my favorite musicals. I love dorothy's dress and shoes it's like the movie. Very good job to the actors. the witich name in wicked is call Elphaba. The wicked witch of the east in wicked was called nessarose.
The way the actors immerse and interact!!!!! I love it! I envy you
this was wonderful and the actors... wowwee they were so good at there job and sounded almost like the characters from the movie. thank you you Jacob
“I’m evil” best comeback line. 😂😂
I want to visit this place so badly because I LOVE Wizard of Oz. I grew up with it. It was my all-time favorite movie. Everything is so authentic. And these actors are AMAZING! They're doing such a wonderful job, they remembered their lines so well.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. The actors are marvelous . I think it has actually improved from the last time you were there. Wonderful. Keep Safe❤Keep Well ❤
I love your videos so much, they always make me smile. Just by your demeanour, it’s evident you’re a good and genuine man.
Looks so cool, I definitely want to go here someday!
I really loved the characters they were very impressive. Love ya Bagger
This was amazing, all the great acting you would definitely feel like you're in it. Thanks for sharing!
Ah, a most enjoyable park themed round the most enjoyable all American faity tale, loved by children and adults all over the world. Thank you Jacob for taking us on the dream!
Jacob this is amazing!!! I visited the land of OZ every summer in the early 70's..it was so magical as a child🌻 Thanks for this fabulous walk down memory lane..
Love your videos so glad I found your channel. I’m honestly confused how every single one of your videos don’t have at least 100k+ views.
Love how committed the actors are to their characters.
Im so glad that this incredible place still lives on and thrives!! Thanks for sharing your trip to the Emerald City!
Ooh this place looks cool!
Thanks for bringing back some good memories. I visited the original Land of Oz several times in the 70s. I remember taking my oldest son there and especially the balloon ride, sad that it's no longer there.
As ALWAYS, Wonderful job Jacob! I didn't think I'd enjoy this attraction nearly as much as I did! The actors were phenomenal and your interaction with them was priceless! Loved it!! Thx for sharing friend!! ✨🍭✨💜💯🌈✨🧹🌀💨✨🚲✌️
Very close to home. Had no idea this was more than a ski resort. Will definitely have to check this out. Really great way for a family with children to enjoy a classic, most loved fairytale. I loved it! Thank you Jacob!
We went last year and it was so much Fun. These actors are Amazing and This will always be my favorite Movie!!! ❤
That Wicked Witch Laugh… *THAT WAS A HUGE JUMP SCARE*
Oz means so much to me. I'll be checking out all of your other Oz videos soon. Very glad to have found your channel.
I'm so glad you did this video! I only just discovered that this place existed, and right away I found your video! 🤗
Looks like it would be a lot of fun to be a performer at the Land of Oz. Wish I was one. Gain some improv experience.
This has come a long way!!!! Just wonderful ✌❤
WOW! That was awesome! Such great interactions with the actors!
I saw this as a child in the mid 70's. I remember riding in the hot air baloons.
I'm pretty sure the scarecrows arguement is that he lost his rain.
That's a terrific show. Thanx Jacob.
I met the original Munchkin Coroner (Meinhardt Raabe) at the Land of Oz twenty years ago, when they first started to reopen the park.
Great job on the video
LOVE the actors. They are wonderful! Thanks for a great video. 😊❤
a great production of Oz !! thank you Jacob , and i love the enamel pin , i got the opossum on a suit case.
Absolutely amazing video of the park, thanks for sharing.
Such a cool place......I need to get to NC. Thanks for another awesome find!
I was there the first weekend and they had several other characters and "shows" with Dorothy when she met each character on the yellow brick road. However there were some different characters in this video that weren't present during our visit. Either way, this is a must do for any Oz fan. My children loved it!!! Sorry we missed you by a week Carpetbagger!!!!!!!!!! The whole family loves your videos.
This was FABULOUS!! THANK YOU!!
Interesting how they keep re-imagining this place. It's been moving away from the 70s version that was like the original book spliced with H.R. Pufnstuf. Now it's more and more like the movie. It was just a year or two ago when they still had a lot of the old experience. I remember the witch still danced and lip-synched to her old song and some of the characters still seemed to be inspired by the old designs.
Man this is awesome!! Great video sir!!😎
I appreciate the Simpson's quote when correcting the scarecrows triangle equation 🤣
Legend has it that that witch is still cackling away!
This was a lot of fun. Grate actors and costumes. Thank you so much for sharing!
Just casually humming the Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch leitmotif as he goes over a hapless biker XD
Used to ski there all the time! Short runs but it is NC. Pretty awesome place overall. Lots of resort housing and restaurants. Has a public sledding hill complete with snowmaking. Nice to see this is happening at the old park!
this gladdens my heart jacob , reimagined and loved again the costumes and actors superb the buildings beautiful the forest fabulous my hats off to you all who put the fantastic back into this attraction i was moved to tears ,

Great video Jacob. All the characters were delightful!
This video was great!!! As are your other videos. I particularly liked the shots where you placed the camera on the ground & walked past it. That was cool.
THANX FOR SHARING, YOU DID A GREAT JOB AS ALWAYS.
