You've become an excellent drone pilot. I love the natural sounds. The thrashing and bubbling sounds of the volcanic gases and lava is stunning.

Breathtaking. I keep thinking that one side of the cone that s constantly smoking is a weak point that could give way at any time. Since it hasn't yet, it probably won't. But it would certainly be a sight to behold.

Thanks for the final minutes. I always was wondering how the lava distributes at the tip of the lava flow. There is a lot of footage of the crater but hardly anything from that spot.

Is the lava flowing out of a vent at the bottom of the crater? Great footage again! Thank you for leaving your captions on the screen longer than recent posts.

I think Iceland should consider this area may have to be permanently evacuated and it is hard to say how large of an area could be affected.

Met office does a good job putting out data as often as possible, but I've often though about keeping a temperature gauge at the bottom of the Blue Lagoon or other Svartsengi lagoons near the path of these eruptions. Perhaps they do, but this particular data is not released to the public (that I'm aware of). I see it as keeping tabs on heating liquids on a stove top, knowing what the temp of the liquid is helps you adjust accordingly, of course you can't control the temp of a geothermal lagoon, but the temp changes will give you a very good idea what is going on below the earths surface (as magma flows out, land rise starts coming back down, seems the water/lagoon temp would fluctuate accordingly as well). TY for the updates, information, and the aerial observations using your drone. Please stay the course, independent, and fact based as much as possible. Cheers! Edit to add: get more batteries for your drone so you can stay aloft watching the progress of the lava flow. That focus at 10:40 was just amazing to watch, filling the crevices, then flowing on, and repeating the process until it stops or cools off.

Some Rock group is missing a golden opportunity to have you shoot a music video featuring Iceland and the Volcano 🌋 as background. Someone write a song with some killer riffs.

Thank you for the incredible video. Does your drone suffer corrosion etc. from those flights through the steam/smoke near the crater? Also, it seems to me that we can soon expect another wall collapse on the Grindavik side - there seems to be quite an undercut there.
