This summer, CLC is hosting a series of programs where participants can learn more about and try land management techniques in a supportive environment so that you can feel comfortable implementing them at home! This series of workshops is ideal for those who are already actively managing their land, those who would like to get started, and those interested in learning more about how CLC manages the properties we care for.
This program at Ooms focused on implementing the field and grassland management skills learned during part one of this workshop series. Participants learned how to take and analyze soil samples with Cameron Hastie-Etchison, CLC's Conservation Programs Associate. They also had opportunities to learn how to implement these strategies independently and ask questions.
