Great vid Rob. Really liked the intro waves/music combo, and the music on the way to the spot. Shame about that first fish, but good to see you land the other one. The speed they were ripping line of your spool though...awesome!

Thanks for watching the vid mate. Depending on your budget a TLD20 or Shimano Tyrnos 16 are all you need for longtails and mackerel mate

Hey mate - it's an old Ugly Stik blank of all things. Great rod for the rocks when there's a bit of swell on. I'll try and get the blank numbers and come back to you.

Hi rob, currently I’m using spinning reels for tuna and looking to invest in an overhead, which overhead reel and rod would you recommend, any budget

Hey mate - go overhead. You won’t look back. Either a Shimano Tyrnos 16 or Talica 12 would be great reels. For rods I’d look at the Wilson Live Fibre 10kg stick. They’re short for the rocks but great rods.

Great reels!

Not worried about crowding out the ledges mate? I enjoy your vids, but as someone who fishes this part of the world a little bit of cage goes a long way.

Not really mate. Been fishing here all my life and the ledges are less crowded now than say the 80s. As long as people are respectful then it's ok. Pretty hard to be cagey with that spot though. She's pretty well known. Thanks for watching the vids.
