I don't think he knew he wasn't going to be invited, he thought he would coz they were 'brothers'. The fact that both Justin & Jessica didn't proves that they're snubbing their old friends for newer ones. Lance was just waiting for the invitation he wasn't trying to fool people into thinking that he & Justin are close.
