Thank you, sir. This is one of my favorite cycling videos and the original got deleted I don't know when and I could not find it anymore. Love the song, the attack, the comment about "how you like them apples" in his book and all. Thank you.

It was when he leapt off the bike, did 100 push-ups, clapping his hands at the 'up' of each push, all whilst singing "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok" that people really started to wonder if Lance was using drugs.

The firEPOwer of the man is extraordinary. This was an EPOchal race. Even watching now, I'm telEPOrted to a better place. I'd imagine the rEPOrters on Tour this year were blown away by this performance.

I've come around to being sympathetic to Armstrong. Every time I watch this video I see something else that shows what a commanding performance this climb was. There are points when he is in the big ring, when he is on the drops, when he wants to try and hang with his rivals to use them for pace, but then decides that they're not strong enough and he decides to just go. To me, even with doping, this is one of the most impressive performances I've ever seen, to be ranked right up there with Ali and Foreman in '74 or Lemond in the last T.T. of the 1989 race. Armstrong will always be thought of as a villain -- undoubtedly his personality contributes to this -- but god, what a climb.

All those basterds saying everybody was doped nananana, so they were all equal, shut the fck up. You know nothing about chemistry, human body. They were clearly not doped at the same fckn level, they did not have the same products, not the same doctors, so stop saying they are legends, they are fckn cheaters, fck all of them who stole carriers to clean riders.....

All the rest aside, he was incredible to watch for sure. The personality traits that led to criticism for off bike behavior, made him into an exciting cyclist to watch. I think this drive or "fire" had as much to do with his success as anything else.

A drug hyper responder as I am myself. I could barely run 5 miles before and on TRT I can run 12 miles no problem. Probably just as easily as I could run 5 or 6 before. Everyone responds to drugs differently.

Mr big Mr bigger It's all most people have but Lance turned cycling victory into international fame, and nothing anyone does will take that away from him. Do you know the names of those who didn't do drugs in any sport? No, because what they do doesn't matter. Lance made what he did matter.
