Especially when they are also in love with you, and you have been in and out of touch since you fell in love in HS, but you don't want to committ to an Alcoholic. And there are times you have had enough, walk away, until you finally believe you have walked away in this lifetime forever. (as I feel now.) If there is another side, I will be with my soulmate then. Meanwhile, I have relationships with others, but it's never quite as deep. But first love is like that. I am getting better at loving others, but it has taken WAY too long. But that is how it is supposed to be, I guess. Sometimes, that's life. I am so lucky in so many other ways.

@leahartlee29 maybe we get these chances of Love, these "tastes" so that when it comes around again we don't walk away so easily or, in my case, carelessly? I'm an addict & I know it's affected many relationships, the real loves in my life have accepted that. Unfortunately as addicts we are very selfish and abuse the love we're often shown....sometimes it's best to walk away or become embroiled in the addicts self destruction & selfishness....its a fine line I'm sure 🙏xxx Jay

Guys I want to comment what just happened in my life. I had a huge crush on a boy when I was 15 and I liked him for 3 years.
