I miss how Lana looked when she first came out. I loved the huge red hair, the heavyly winged eyeliner, her beautiful dresses, the whole Priscilla Prestley vibe. It suited her so well, I wish she still rocked this look. I know she has to evolve, and this look is not really conducive to the NFR era, but shit, she was so stunning during this time! No one does glamour like Lana Del Rey (back in 2011/2012). Her more recent live performances are much improved from this time, but I kinda miss this vulnerable, frightened green version of her. She’s enthralling to watch!

And till this day she didn't go back 😭 I love her and I love all her albums, old and new. But ohh how I miss this time. I feel like she really felt what she sang. She did her thing, dared to be different. And she feels what she sings but it's more mellow, not as deep dark music nowadays. Love for her she's (hopefully) happier. But these old concert videos are GOLD. And I feel so nostalgic and miss these days, I wish I had the chance to see her live back then!

Your output will be prolific, releasing 9 critically acclaimed albums and you will even write a poetry book. They rely on a track, and their distracting outfits to get through their shows. Lana has genuine, God given talent. I think some singers are made for the studio or the studio is made for them and some can be great doing live while others dont do well with audiences. I think she has the most unusual, sultry voice Ive heard but - it seems she has to be in a studio to really capture the essence. Ive seen some of her performances on KZread and some are good and some okay - but I have also seen a lot of other musicians not have a good day on stage.Sometimes its the presence that takes the fans and not so much the music each time. But Im a big big fan and think her music and videos are out of this world!!!
@lydiaring4124
10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but you have to remember that in the studio you have a million takes. Most people with a decent singing voice could make a nice sounding song if they have a good producer. The question is, if you can only sing in a studio are you really all that talented? I still like her. Maybe she can sing well live without the huge audience.
@robbie9459
9 жыл бұрын
Lydia Ring If we're being fair though, Lana's newest album, "Ultraviolence" was recorded live with her singing straight through with a 4-piece band behind her. No other artist has the talent or the authenticity to record an entire album live with minimal editing like Lana does. However, her BTD album isn't song live as well as it should be, because she did in fact have a lot of takes to record that album. Performances of her newer material are far more impressive.

you can tell she gets more relaxed towards the end, her Video Games performance is so good. I love you Lana.
She’s so incredible live
Love her when she runs to the crowd ♥♥♥
the ending made me cry. love her so much
I keep repeating Million Dollar Man over and over again. It's one of the Best!
OMG LANA ROCKED THAT RED DRESS!!!!!
I just saw this whole performance while high, the best thing ever. I love here and I’m so lucky to be alive as the same time as her I hope as an artist one day I can meet her and we can collaborate.
the national anthem demo and live version with the beautfiul strings > studio version
Lana seems so distant yet so well connected with the crowd, it's the perfect mix for her type of music and songwriting. Beautiful performance.
she is actually good she just needs more and more experiences on huge audiences. Besides her band is fantastic

This woman is sensational. I think I have gotten almost everyone I know to listen to her. The one thing I want is to see her live, and to get just ONE photo with her. She is amazing and I love her.
Oh my god, the way she just ran to the crowd at the end like they were all old friends with that big warm smile...that was so sweet, I teared up. I love her so much. Beautiful performance. Million Dollar Man was fucking amazing, my favorite out of all of them.
I love this live...
Fuckkkkk I LOVE it when she get all bratty during Million Dollar Man
the end just made me smile so much : ) wish i was there
her voice in her best moment...
Pround of being fan of such an amazing and kind singer
She's so glamorous
After 5 years, here I am.
Oh my gosh I replayed it like 8 times. I couldn't get enough of her voice during that raspy part
She can sing, but she sometimes messes up some vocals because she's shy. I wouldn't blame her like, there's thousands of people watching her😂 She did a great job anyways

Actually, i like it when this happens. Because it's just lana and lana has flaws like everyone, it just makes her unperfect perfect.

Yeah, but you have to remember that in the studio you have a million takes. Most people with a decent singing voice could make a nice sounding song if they have a good producer. The question is, if you can only sing in a studio are you really all that talented? I still like her. Maybe she can sing well live without the huge audience.

She looks amazing in this video! The red dress, black heels, her hair and makeup is all perfect!!
Her "pray" and "we get crazy" in Body Eletric was extremely weird... but neverthless I love her...
