The whole album feels like memories. It feels like life. It feels like looking at your old texts and photos with someone you used to know so well but now is just a stranger. It's beautiful but it's sad, and that's just what Lana's music is.

❗Lyrics❗ [Verse 1] Put your red boots on, baby, giddy up Baby wants a dance, baby gets her way Dreamy nights, talk to me with that whiskey breath Twirl me twice, I'll treat you like a holiday [Pre-Chorus] And don't say you're over me When we both know that you ain't Don't say you're over me Babe, it's already too late Just do what you do best with me [Chorus] Dance me all around the room Spin me like a ballerina, super high Dance me all around the moon Light me up like the Fourth of July Once, twice, three times the guy I Ever thought I would meet, so Don't say you're over me When we both know that you lie [Post-Chorus] If you lie down, lie next to me Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie If you lie down, lie next to me Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie When you lie down, lie next to me [Verse 2] Get your jacket on, be a gentleman Get into your truck and pick me up at eight 'Cause we were built for the long haul freight train Burnt by fire without trial like a stowaway [Pre-Chorus] And don't say you're over me When they all know that you ain't If you lay down, lie next to me [Chorus] Dance me all around the room Spin me like a ballerina, super high Dance me all around the moon Like six times 'till I'm sick and I cry Once, twice, three times the guy I Ever thought I would meet, so Don't say you're over me When they all know that you're lying [Post-Chorus] If you lie down, lie next to me Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie You lie, you lie If you lie down, lie next to me Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie You lie, you lie When you lie down, lie next to me

I first heard Video Games back in 2013 when I was 12. I've never stopped listening since then, and as I've grown Lana has taught me what it truly means to be a woman. Her songs have been with me through everything. They've given me hope in my darkest hours and have shown me a beautiful perspective of the world that I've now adopted. Thank you for another masterpiece Lizzy. I'm excited to experience life to this new album

Wtf with this song!! It's the new Cinnamon Girl. I just can't stop listening to it. Dear Lana, if you ever read this comment please let me tell you that this song in particular is one of the most damn beautiful hot songs i've ever listened of you. You are a genius girl, you take me back to the beautiful Jazz 50's era music instantly. I cry every time with the end of this song. So much. I love you. 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️

This needs to be in a movie. The first half could be for a love scene/tender moments. The last half with the band could be used for a final gun fight where the hero dies after defeating a ton of bad guys, his body surrounded by dead enemies would be the final focus shot as the camera circles towards the ceiling, fading into credits with the band playing.

Can't stop listening, all the songs in this album are unique.
I don't know how but this one will sounds like a classic song in the future
lana deals with my pain effortlessly she is a complete embodiment of an angel she is ethereal and celestial ❤
The ending😍🙏
She made that song with her ex bf Barrie James for Ultraviolance album. I always thought Barrie and she are the most amazing couple ever, even though I know he had some problems and not the best partner for her. But still, I’m soooo happy that we got another Lana&Barrie song after all those years…

Crying and throwing up such an underrated masterpiece.
What i love bout lana is that every album i seem to be saying this is her best yet & she keeps topping the last. But i mean it, this album is her best yet, absolute gold x

the trumpet at the end sounds SO good!
Everyone who sees this: You’re beautiful, and never give up your dreams, you are on this world for a reason!
Этот альбом что-то среднее между блюзом и джазом, как всегда этот волшебный голос просто заставляет тебя окунуться в её собственный мир, так волшебно💖

This would be an odd choice for a wedding. It's about the person you're with lying to others about being with you.
This song is so addicting and underrated. I cannot stop listening to this!

So much. I love you. 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️
Her songs satisfy all my musical tastes

_who else listens to Blue Banisters album because it makes them feel safe and loved? no one else? Just me? Okay......_
I currently have to spend 14 days in complete isolation, in a quarantine hotel far away from home. The release of this album helps me so much to get through this time. Thanks Lana
This song’s so underrated!
i havent moved on from NFR and COTCC and then Blue Banister came. My heart is in a pure bliss.
This is the actual definition of a masterpiece
This needs to be in a movie. The first half could be for a love scene/tender moments. The last half with the band could be used for a final gun fight where the hero dies after defeating a ton of bad guys, his body surrounded by dead enemies would be the final focus shot as the camera circles towards the ceiling, fading into credits with the band playing.

I am already far ahead of ya on that idea. I am writing a book like that which hopefully I plan to make into a series. And this will be in it 100%
The ending to this song is so enthralling. It’s so hypnotizing. I wish it was included more during the the song. I still love it tho :)
Gosh i love the little musical flair at the end!
OMG THE ENDING WITH THE HORNS!!! Just that alone made it my favorite girl
E eu pensando que a Lana nunca iria fazer um álbum tão bom quanto o nfr, mas ela me lança isso. Lana vc sabe que venceu e que é a maior 🙃

I hope her next era includes more tracks like this. The instrumental just brings me to tears. The outro 😭
The most beautiful and retro song of all the album. The ending is AMAZING!! Takes you back to the 50's… 🥰🥰🥰❤️
The outro give me thingyan vibes. It makes me miss our country's festival not being held for a long period of time.
Thank you queen for your art. I hope you know that through your masterpieces we see ray of hope, hope to evolve. Music is truly a safe place for us to reconnect, remember and realise.

Lana has gotten me through so much. Just her voice makes me feel better
Her jazz collection is so rare
