"love hurts" OMG SHE WILL CRY

many people don't like her voice live only because it's not "perfect". they say it's not perfect because of the shakiness and stuff, but they don't and probably will never understand that THAT is what I like about it. her voice is real and raw and it's not like the unexperienced unprofessional shaking like other artists nowadays when they sing live; Lana's voice is filled with emotion, conveys so much more meaning, and has a lot of depth...all of these are extremely rare to find. and that's what makes her so special.

People that say it’s not beautiful usually compare Lana’s voice to pop artists like Ariana or Beyoncé which’s só wrong. You should never compare artists works. Art is so personal and each one has got their own way of doing their thing. Sometimes I wonder if Lana would be more appreciated if she was born in the 50s

FUCK. Some people say she's the one who can't sing? Really? Fucking kidding me? Out of all the horrible singers they could pick up, they had to pick one of the few who can sing? Can you imagine if she released a song singing in only her chest voice like she does at 1:50? It would be incredible. She has an awesome tone right there I wish she would utilize it a little more. She could definitely belt some high notes.

+Nick Olsen I think she really has a more powerful voice that what we might think. Power does not mean vocal quality, her voice really don't need power to sound wonderful since her whole tone is wonderful. But I think, in the future, she should try to explore a more powerful side of her voice. It sounds amazing

Before she was Lana, she was May Jailer as a stage name as well and had blonde hair. Back then in 2008 she belted a LOT because she sang really high and thickly, and she had a vocal range 2 octaves higher than she does now. But I still like her voice now more because of her effortlessly she hits the lows :)))

This is my favorite version of her’s for Blue Jeans. The guitar, her voice, everything was so in sync.

She has so much emotion and soul in her music. Her lyrics her voice is pure art! The way she can vocalize voice differently in each performance ugh. She's so beautiful. Lana's queen.she Should be so much more appreciated

I can't explain love, but I can show it. When she say "love hurts" its breaking my heart every time

I love how many different tones she can have to her voice. That is what makes her voice so unique compared to other artists. She can sound really strong, more high pitched, and also the deeper quieter sound that she sings for most of her songs. She's just fabulous!

i honestly think she gets stage fry every time she performs in front of a huge audience bc she sounds fantastic here.

Strangely I like the inexperience with her breathing, I find it delightful, like a young lady who's taught her self to sing. Her singing style leaves her exposed just like the lyrics she writes.

This song is exactly how i felt when i first met my person... and Lana singing live really makes you FEEL the emotions in her songs. It's raw & real & perfect IMO.

The 'no please' is perfection.

I truly love this performance. What makes Del Rey different from other contemporary singers is the fact that she adds drama to the quality of her voice. We all know that having a beautiful voice and a flawless vocal technique isn't enough: true art necessarily moves us, makes us feel more deeply, makes us sad or happy, it makes us think and remember our own experiences.

Amazing voice and tone, this was an amazing performance, with a lot of talent and genuine feelings. Her voice has one weakness though. I mean, sometimes you can hear her struggling when doing a certain pitch, but she goes over and under easily without problems. She tries real hard to make it ok, but it's impossible when it's right at the peak of lows, and under the lowest highs she is capable of.. it's simply the tipping point of her voice, and these songs are not very well suited for her voice. She has to put a tremendous amount of effort to sing those notes. None the less, even with that, she is amazing live, and there's something more than just the voice. She has some magic going on :) She is amazingly talented.

I watch this video twice a hour.... she's amazing, I can't stop listening this!
