Its called smart basketball... Not playing with an ego and challenge a lockdown defender and mess around and get stripped and cost your team the game because you wanted to show off...

I may sound like a hater here but this clip is full of him driving by PF and Centers. It's not really that impressive when a point guard can drive by a PF or a Center thats back pedalling. There are better clips out there of Melo doing this. I know there is.
