You need to know if your ignition switch is ac/dc or just ac, if its the first you have to join two together so the ac goes to both sides of the switch

Hi, I am trying to wire my Lambretta LI s3 and I would be eternally grateful if you can show a more detailed wiring at the ignition switch end please. The ignition switch I have has 4 positions and 7 wires (yellow green brown pink black blue & orange) and looks totally different to your one. Thank you for posting a very helpful video.

I have red, blue, yellow, white, black, grey and brown at the handlebars, scooter is battery model

Proper colours should be red and blue are high and low beam white for horn, should be a long cable to horn, you should then have ac for high and low beam only this is usually brown and only feeds lights when engine running, purple feeds the pilot light power from the battery and this is switched via yellow cable, black cable feeds power to pilot bulb and rear lamp, dc is fed to the horn direct and the grey/ white then earths it out when you press the horn button.
