Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 First Service After 1 Year Ownership - Final Bill Included

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I document taking my 2013 Gallardo LP 560-4 for its first service after owning the car for one year. The Bellevue Lamborghini dealership performed the 8-year service on the car. I show driving to the dealership in the pouring rain, explore the service center and dealership, collect my car, and go over the final bill including revealing the cost.

I think one of these would look fantastic parked next to my Viper. A big factor for me purchasing the Viper was the low service costs. I like the idea of another V10 with low service costs! Although I’d definitely go for the 550-2 Beautiful car though!

Yeah Vipers and Gallardo's both compliment each other well - both crazy good looks, both V-10s, but you get the more classic front-engine RWD with the Viper. If you track the 550-2 is amazing but for me in the Pacific NW I cannot give up that AWD, really love it for launching and handling in less than ideal temps.

EEk, that was a service with nothing actually wrong with the car. Pretty scary for the average person to digest. Still, I have factored this in to my proposed purchase as I think nearly all the variants of the Gallardo have bottomed out in depreciation so, overall, it is actually not an expensive car to run if you buy at the bottom. Am several months away but am looking at either an SL (LP or pre) or any manual - might look at a Performante or any 2WD variant. The Balboni is out of reach for me really. Enjoy the car. Ade

It's not. One thing about the LP cars (2009-2014) is that if you keep it below 4,000 RPM the engine is quite subdued sounding. Many people prefer the screaming pre-LP engine (2004-2008) since it is even-firing and sounds like a race car at all RPMs, but for me since I cruise a lot with my wife I don't want the engine blasting unless I really wind it up.

I've never actually driven an e-gear pre-LP car, but from the research I've done the LP cars have a bit better transmission and TCU, and the front diff is improved, so it is generally less-jerky and easier to use than the pre-LP cars. I do lift the throttle a bit from first to second and second to third when my wife is with me though to try and give her the most comfortable ride as a passenger.
