Ich kann es kaum in Worte fassen......Bitte, man muss bedenken, diese Dame war damals ein kleines Mädchen und musste Hunger und Elend erleben, für das sie nichts konnte. Mein Papa ist etwas älter....seine Erinnerungen an diese besch....ssene Kindheit sind bis heute ganz präsent.... das sie dieses Lied singt, ist ein emotionaler Horror..... Chapeau

Das hat meine Oma mir oft vorgesungen und das Lied ist so schön und traurig Wunderschön gesungen 😢👍

It awso meant a lot for your Soldiers it meant a lot for all Soldiers during world war 2 soo much that your soldieres even stole the song from the Nazis which was a good thing one of the songs that is full of history like no other song

Not only in the WWII. In the foreign missions of the Bundeswehr, the song is played every evening at the end of Radio Andernach. Radio Andernach is a radio station of soldiers for soldiers
