    You say that like it means something. Shaq annihilated everyone else, too. The difference is you can't hack a Joker. You could get Shaq down to sub 1.2 points per trip by just fouling him. You can't do it with Joker. He can also shoot, so Shaq would have to guard on the perimeter, which opens him up to switch hunting and that will put him into foul trouble. Joker is also an elite passer and Shaq never had that in his arsenal. So 1v1 Shaq would destroy everyone including Joker, but in a 5v5 from the perspective of points differential and plusminus Jokic is clearly better than anybody else has ever been. I think Shaq would get a 40/15 against Jokic, but miss half of his 25 free throws in the process. Joker would get like 25/12/14 and make 8/10 leading his team to victory.

    The Lakers head coaching job is not an entry level position for someone with no experience. Taking a chance on Reddick is fine as an assistant so he can get experience and be re/evaluated at the end of the year, contingent on his coach, Coach K coming in as head coach for one year to mentor him!

    So you’re expecting a coach to act to the same accountability as a player? Fair enough, but let’s keep that standard and expect the players to keep the same level of accountability as Anthony Edwards’s as well. Literally every player, including Lebron refused to take accountability for their poor individual performances and instead blamed injuries etc on the failed season. So why are we being hypocrites and being outraged when Darvin ham refuses to take accountability, and rightfully so, yet look past lebron and the rest of the players when they refuse to take accountability?

    I’d like to see you guys do a video where you focus on our desired trade targets, create our best trade packages for them, and then locate teams who could use that same player, and create trade packages for them, just to see how our trade packages stack up with the other teams. I say this because it’s easy to say we want player A and we are going after him. But if our trade package can’t compete with other teams for that player, then it’s good to possibly look at other potential trade targets that can help us and our package would work for them.

He is not a 5. He’s been telling the world that, and NOW, 4yrs after winning a ring playing the 4, now they’re considering AD playing the 4 as a possibility. That’s what frustrated me the most. @@kaferrat exactly. And to be perfectly honest, Lebron's kid is at least used to having a lot of eyes on him and has a 40+ inch vertical apparently. Austin Reaves was fast, but recorded a 25 inch vertical leap and 35 from a running start. That is a massive discrepancy. He has a really really small explosive strength deficit, which is very bad, because it takes a lot longer to build strength than it does to decrease a larger explosive strength deficit. And basketball is not a line drill. That first step is what matters the most on defense and that correlates the most with strength. Reaves isn't going to bball IQ his way to great defense any time soon. Guy is born to be a scorer off the bench and actually hangs the best with smaller rotation SFs. As long as they can't pull up at will and shoot over him, he does a great job with them. That strength deficit is what happens when you mainly train for sport specific skills with a focus on speed. Bronny is strong and has a great base to become an even better athlete. He has the base for that type of training to be highly impactful. Reaves needs to get a lot stronger first to increase his power in order to be the type of athlete that can defend starters. Bronny has that built in. Reaves has the asketball brains, technique and speed. Bronny is all raw athleticism. Both can perform well under pressure. I fully expect Bronny to stick and actually become a productive role player with a couple of years on a roster. If Reaves helps him out with training for speed the way D'Lo helped Reaves with his handles, Bronny could become a great player off the bench before his rookie contract is up. So yeah not going to miss Maxwell Lewis. Even Max Christie has not blown me away at all. I think in 2 years Bronny will be better than Max Christie is after 3.

Valanciunas Drumond, Dwight ect (ie 2020 chip) we need a six man (Bobby Portes, Dramond, for additional support etc.) We need a two way guard to contend with Jamall Murry and Anthony Edwards..... Lakers coach spot is indeed the most difficult to manage in the NBA, not in sports. Have you seen South American and European soccer teams pressure? Probably not, because the supporters when are upset about the coach and players, they throw a lot of criticism during the game and after, to say the least. Supporters go in the practice facilities to pressure coaching staff if their team aren’t playing well and the media as well goes so hard on coaches.

    Sam Cassell is my first choice. The best coach for this team is someone that will actually stand up to Lebron and hold him accountable with the GMs backing IE Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley. Of course, Rob Pelinka is no Pat Riley and will instead fire the coach to appease his Father Lebron.

    I respect everyone's views, but sometimes we stripped people of their great work and easy give it to other. Rob Pelinka gets credit for championship, but no credit when he dismantle the winning formula. Mark Jackson doesn't get credit for the Warriors, even though the stars of that team gives him credit. Sean was the main one talking how great Ham is going to be until he wasn't. AD won a championship playing the 4 mostly, and had the courage throughout the season to shoot the 3, no matter what. But everyone says he should only play the 5. Dwight and McGee gets no credit for the championship. Please revisionist history that we do when tell the stories. I'm a fan since Magic... and the time when Detroit had the Jordan's number too.

Another rookie coach (JJ, Cassell?), 2 years of LeBron, may be wasting a pick on Bronny…then rebuild around AD will take 2-3 years. Hitting the heights of nepotism and mediocrity with a front office of Pelinka, Clutch and Rambis…with Jeanie. RIP, till Lakers are born again and grow to be contenders after 5 years.

    Man I like the spider trade for long term my problem is now because let's face it Here lebron played great but he's not the same player he's old now and that's fine but we need much better help then what we had in the 2019-2020 season because it's simple lebron can't defend and can't be excellent on offense for a 40min a game 7game series anymore we seen this already and sure mitch will fix that but problems will arise we won't have a bench unfortunately and you still need size which we won't get either

  • @peteranders7106

    @peteranders7106

    The 2020 was the much better help. Danny Green was still sound. Avery Bradley was a top 50 on ball defender. Alex Caruso was already a top 3 defender and KCP was just breaking into the top 30. Kuma was finally net neutral as a PF on defense. Morris was a solid enforcer. Rondo could control the tempo. Daniels and Cook were automatic for garbage time. McGee and Howard were both younger, faster and more explosive than almost all of the new guys that are 7 feet tall. Jared Dudley was the only questionable choice on the bench and he actually played well when called upon. He never had that kind of help again. D'Lo is the best PG we have had together with LeBron, but the rest of the team is just not that good. Vanderbilt and Rui were expensive insurance policies. Gabe was non existent. Reaves folds against starters and can either play top 100 defense or make shots. So what are you talking about? We have never even come close to that 2020 team again. Trevor and Sean are just clueless and ignored OGA and Caruso while talking about guys like Dorian Finney Smith or Tyus Jones, who is one of the worst defenders in the NBA by far worse than D'Lo. Or Murray was funny, too. Could have had a worse shooter, who played defense for one year at the cost of only our starting guards. Let's talk about that robbery for 400 shows. If you don't read the newspaper you have no information. If you do read the newspaper you have been misinformed. The same thing applies here. If you don't watch this show you probably haven't gotten all the information. If you do, you have been misled by a history teacher and an egotistical wannabe.

    See a lot of bullshit in these comments. LAKERS DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ASSETS TO GET DONOVAN MITCHELL. THERES 2-3 other teams that has more and better assets to trade for him. Why would Cavs short arm themselves to move him to LA when they can get a hefty return from OKC, Nets, Jazz, Spurs? Let’s think realistically only way this is remotely possible is if Mitchell says he’s only willing to go to LA Lakers.
