Nice. We were out on opener as well. The minnows outfished jigging 25 to 4. Lots of perch, but also a 2 man limit! Wanted to ask, what's your biggest walleye out of Callandar? Seems like they top out at 20" there.

Nice! Yea it definitely seemed like they wanted minnows over jigging forsure. My biggest walleye out of Callander was 23” last winter. Definitely a better chance of catching a big walleye out in the main lake in my opinion. I have seen some posts of big ones coming out of Callander though.

27 ft. It's in the basin on Callander Bay. It's all one big 25-30 ft mud basin, and it looks like they were out in the middle.

Yea it definitely is unfortunate the average is small. Hopefully in a few years the average gets bigger with the new slot. I wish I was alive 25 years ago to fish it then. Still fun to catch a ton of fish though even if they are smaller.
