Nice! I kept seeing the low water and stranded docks, thought the lake was dying. This is welcome news.

The lake is dying. A 2 feet increase is incredibly insignificant.

This is what I’ve been saying,… that valley in California is an old lake bed… that lake is going to re fill… there’s nothing they can do about it… if they don’t open the dams, they’ll lose the dams……

It is hard to guess what such a commentary is really driving at. It is not very clear to me the policy of releasing whater even if the lake is far from full. And even though Lake Mead is still a lot under its maximum level, it is rising anyway. Therefore, I don't much understand certain kind of worries. Until it rises, regardless of the actual level, we don't need to worry. I have this idea in a corner of my mind, that some people are disappointed by the fact the the drought is over or almost over, and don't like full lakes.

The drought is not over. A 2 foot seasonal increase in the lake hardly makes it full. Its incredibly insignificant.
