Have travelled recently to Como, I was overwhelmed by its stunning beauty. Wished I could stay in Grand Hotel Tremezzo, helas, way above my modest budget, the cheapest room there was offered for 700 euros. Looks like it is the most expensive hotel around the lake. Thanks for showing us how it looks inside. Stayed in far cheaper Riviera hotel in Cadenabbia, had two balconies overlooking the lake and funny sculpture decorating one of them. Few glasses of wine allowed me held pretty lively conversation with that sculpture, she too was concerned about the state of buisness in times of pandemia.

Oh wow you were just there at Como how wonderful is that I'd trade anything for being there right now. Two balconies over the lake, flowing wine, funny sculptures to keep you company what more can one ask for. Don't know when the world can truly be back to normal, hopefully sooner than later....but we'll get there emerging the other end stronger, wiser that's for sure. For now I'm appreciative for every little thing. Stay well, Zygmunt! I adore your comment :)

I love the patterned floors! The mix of old and new. The use of color is great! Simple yet elegant! And beautiful views! Can send picture. 6 of us split the September rent of less than $2,800 for the 7 nights. Private lawn. House viewable from water. Painted golden yellow.

Hi there, you like? :-) Como is my kind of gem too. Just wish they're more into fresh salads....you can only eat so much carbs and not wish for a big bowl of veggies with everything on it the way you can do back home. I do love Italian bread tho...maybe a bit too much haha

Hotel Tremezzo..nice pile of bricks. Only thing missing is 007 on your terrace. Of the few that I've seen in your travels, I like that particular Chanel Flap bag the best. Think you may have missed an opportunity to pet the dog. Thanks for the vid, say hello to everybody I know.

I love them both, maybe villa d'este just a tad more simply because the food was better, plus great staff...but the staff at grand hotel tremezzo was way lovelier. Good question :)

I’m so jealous of your latest travels...as always, your quick little getaways to far off lands are a perfect escape for me, and this one is so gorgeous. I think this is my favorite of them all! I went on their website to see if I could actually get a room here and it seems like no matter what dates I put, they’re all booked up! You must have some really great connections... :) anyways, I guess I’ll just wait for when you decide to go on your next adventure... thank you for all of your attention to detail with these videos! Here's to your bracing the cold so cool. Hope you and New York are having a break in the weather finally - especially the Midwest, too. Appreciate the love, thank you. Btw, I think the hotel is booked up by all the snowbirds descending upon it haha. By spring or summer you might not need Lake Como anymore but it'd still be a great trip, so make a video while you're there and post it on KZread for fun...how about that?
