I adore these videos you make. What a thrilling way to travel. The hotels you stay at are fabulous! But the food we see is as great as any of it. That bread! That chocolate! How absolutely tempting it all looks. What extraordinary will power you must have not to frequently over indulge. I am happy for you to get to travel! Thank you for sharing!❤️❤️❤️

If anyone is watching and yearns for a dash of luxury, if you’re in a tourist hotel in a city, book afternoon tea in one of the best hotels. A pot of tea in the Rivoli bar of the Ritz ( comes with shortbread ) costs about the same as a Costa coffee and cake- but is much more of a treat.

Being in that hotel feels as if you're inside the Louvre, peeping over the windows. So cosy. I'm in Paris RN, in spring for the first time, I wasn't expecting it would be this pretty. Lots of parties and fun over the Seine. Lots of flowers in the parks and good weather. Have a great time Alexis, thanks for sharing.

Tres jolie lobby

Well hello my friend, I’ve missed you. Your plane food actually looked quite delicious but then Air France always does it right. The chocolates were amazing pieces of art! I love how you film all the details. Fabulous room with absolutely stunning views. I’d have a hard time leaving the room. Classic Chanel double flap, beautiful bag. The afternoon tea at The George was perfection. The Pont Neuf has been standing since the start of the 17th century (yes, I looked that up) and isn’t that just mind blowing! The iconic green metal chairs at the Luxembourg gardens…I’ve spent many a happy moment on those. Oh how I miss Paris. Thanks for taking me along with you. I could almost taste the baguettes 🥖. ❣️

Very beautifully set up room. While I'm not a fan of modern, the room is beautiful and well done. I'm not a lol fan of the open bathtubs lol NOOOOO. Im not 25 anymore! Hello Alexis! Unbelievable....you beat me by a couple of weeks, i finally made it to Paris myself, was there the whole of last week! You did come to mind whilst i was there as i went past the George V .... thought it would be ironic if you happened to be there the same week. Fabulous film, as always, Looooove Paris, and you really captured the atmosphere spot on...and yes, way too much eating - even went across the Pont Neuf en route to the Latin Quatre. @@alexisluxurytravels1 Paris was a dream, not being there for the Tour final made this a true holiday in that i just wondered! The Latin Quarter was alive and bustling, everywhere there was a thousand people, every café full and the noise of conversation was deafening. The fun is finding where to eat and we found some great places, though i always have preconceived ideas that what i order is going to be what I'm expecting to be placed in front of me and to my delight it always had that French twist ( the profiteroles were outrageous!). Versailles - breath-taking, along with the lunch next to the boating lake, Foie gras and a beer...what can i say! Highlight of shopping along the Champs-Elysees, Macaron from Pierre Herme and lunch at café George V....though don't think it was all food! Sitting and having a coffee and people watching Parisian style...the dream. Until the next time, warm wishes, Adrian Uk

I am from LA and your video really puts me into vacation mood. I usually go to Paris, London every summer but it stopped since Covid hit in 2020, last european vacation was in June 2019. now I am ready to vacation back in Europe in August, if all goes well.

Thanks a lot Alexis for this lovely video! Glad that you could make it again to Paris! The Cheval Blanc hotel looks so warm inside and the poached egg with salmon on a croissant delicious. Also nice to take us for a walk strolling through Parc du Luxembourg in spring with the yellow daffodils really enjoyed it!

Thank you, Alexis, for taking us to Paris 🌍✈️ in spring time. The hotel,, the junior suite and the food 🥐🍾 are amazing. My last time in Paris was in July 2019 at the Pullmann Hotel with breathtaking views on the Eiffel Tower. Dear Alexis. It is certainly always a pleasure to follow along on your journeys. I was particularly excited to see you stayed at the Cheval Blanc. I have been waiting for this hotel to open. It looks stunning. I was about to book it when itineraries changed and we ended up at the Ritz-Carlton in Barcelona. But your video confirmed that Cheval Blanc is still on my list, besides the newly opened Bulgare Hotel. Maybe you check that out during you next trip to Paris ;-) Have a good time. Emma

Hi Emme (very pretty name) Pleasure having you here 🙂 How did you like the Ritz-Carlton (Hotel Arts) in Barcelona? I was there in 2016 (see video Hotel Arts Ritz-Carlton) and had lots of fun. Been to the Bvlgari Hotel - right across the street from George V - they're nice that is if you're into the overly dark/dramatic motif...so I'm still on the fence about it. Cheers!

Best youtube channel! Perfect time to visit Paris. Good to see different hotels and sites. I remember walking that street of the hotel and it was noisy, but your room seemed to be quiet. 😀

Best comment ever! Now sure is the perfect time to be in Paris. To go there and have a bit more fun with a new hotel/foods/garden in spring...so you've noticed 😀My room was very quiet, a complete sanctuary from the noisy street - you have the amazing bridge and then you have the busy street. The trade-off is worth it, I think 🌷

@@Gordon_2000 I used to believe Xmas/New Year period is ideal for travel because it's such festive/happy time. Now spring seems perfect as I can see trees turn green and flowers in bloom. The next video will show more of Paris in spring, you'll like it 🌸

Nice to se someone out and about again. Liked the Cheval Blanc hotel., The croissants really looked good as did the pastries. It used to be Austrians/Swiss and Germans who were leading the amazing pastries race but the French in the past 10 years have made incredible headway in pastry. Next time you're in Paris, go to the Fauchon Bakery/Pastry house. Amazing stuff there too. The breads also looked great. The room was nice, but not a fan of the glass walled watch me shower/bathe bathroom. A lot of marble to clean though......uuuufff those poor housekeepers. You'll have to review the Cheval Blanc they are going to put in Beverly Hills. No meeting rooms, just rooms and luxury on Little Santa Monica and Beverly in about 2-3 years.

Nice to see you again :) Glad you like the hotel/room, its pastries/bread. I see where you're coming from about not being a fan of the oh no you can't watch me shower/bathe kind of bathroom - watch the video again...notice the big white shade at the top of the glass wall by the bathtub? Problem solved! Will look up Fauchon Bakery - I like their chocolate a lot, used to buy em at the Metropole mall in Monte Carlo before it was closed a few years ago :( Thanks for the tip! Beverly Hills is synonymous with So Cal horrible traffic...I won't go there anymore but thanks again for the info. You're full of fun facts!

Hahaha!! Thank you for sharing. You had a great stay at the Four Seasons George V. It looks very nice to stay there with the beautiful service of the staff. You room was very nice with the enclosed balcony looking onto the street. Was there a curtain that would come down to separate the enclosed balconies from looking over into each there? Also, I love the bath tub there in your room!!! I saw the big white curtain that comes down to cover the outside from looking into the bathroom. That is very nice. Really very nice and again thank you for sharing your beautiful stay there in Paris.

I had taught myself how to enjoy the privacy in a hotel bathroom from my many years of traveling as well. Well, please take care and fly safe.

So nice to see you back in France, we love you showing us your Chanel bags.....(how many do you have and is it the only designer you wear?) The view on this hotel was fabulous how do you narrow down which place you want to stay in a city that has so many high end hotels? The only thing that we would like to see (minor issue) is you move the camera to fast when filming the food and we get dizzy lol. However we truly enjoy watching your vlog:)

P.S. True that Paris is the city of impressive palaces. And I love them all - but the feel of the room is my no.1 priority. You can agree/disagree with the hotel's definition of comfort - no matter the remarkable degree of luxury. Great question!

I would love to return to Paris. Alexis, have you ever eaten at the restaurant Le Procope? It is not far from your hotel the place is very old and historical Benjamin Franklin ate there. I would highly recommend it! C'est tellement bon.

Thanks so much for the tip. I figured douceur means gentle and fluide means fluid - so maybe it's something light for rinsing the hair with a la francais, or a body lotion like Lancome rose water - but of course it's a gentle lotion for the face i.e. makeup remover. You're the best!

Interesting location…nice change from the regular 5 star…shame the hotel is not being built in BeverlyHills for now…crazy idea how they lost the votes by 80 votes..

We will Not be staying at Cheval Blanc in Paris!!!!! Nice hotel just in the wrong city. When Iam in Paris or any where in France, I want all things French, architecture,clothes, food, culture, etc. The hotel is cold looking and I would never eat there either, just not the vibe I look for in France. . Just our opinion!!! But I still like your travel blogs!!!!🤗
