Thanks for visiting Lakawon island which is part of Cadiz city Neg. Occ. It has blue water and white sand. People there are selling dried fish, they plant and harvest seaweeds and they also sell different kinds of shells and clams. Very delicious seafoods. Try to visit Mambukal mountain resort. It's better than Siquijor and Bohol.

I love Lakawon! I have been there multiple times. Very nice water, white sand, great food and facilities! Have not been there since 2018 but hope to be back soon!

The sea grass it makes the water murky, but the rest of the ocean is pretty much clear we are in the USA 🇺🇸 our family loves watching your video stay safe and thanks for sharing

Me and my family were there at Lakawon Island last April this year. The food is yummy esp. the fried chicken. 👍😋 The barista is cute as well 🥰

Good that you re showing not the usual touristy places ..How abt featuring mountain destinations in negros occ : Don Salvador Benedicto, Murcia ,Valencia in Oriental , and historical sites..

Go to Mambukal,Sipalay beaches, The Ruins,Silay City,Sagay City. So many beautiful places in Negros Island.

If I am not mistaken as they say there are around more than 36 thousand beach resorts around the country with different kinds of sand beaches like white sand beach, brown sand beach, black sand beach pebbls sand small to medium sizes of peebbles beach, the grey sand beach and the most unique sand beach is the pink sand beach the most popular one is in mindanao Santa cruzeiro Island pink sand beach, zamboangq city. I hope you can visit all of those more than 36 thousand beaches through out the country.

Hey Mergs! When you're talking about the water color, it could be the same problem that Boracay used to have where most of the hotels and restaurants along the beach were just dumping their effluence directly into the sea from sewer pipes they buried under the beach to about 20 m out. It grosses me out to think that before. Duterte fixed Boracay, I had visited there a couple of times and swam in that sewage water. In retrospect, now I know why I got dysentery after that first trip.

Mergim, thanks for the video. Btw, have you checked out the other side of the island? I heard it’s where they dump all the trash and garbage. That was a couple of years ago. I don’t know if it’s still the same or whether they did something to improve the situation.

Been there in the 90s when it was still undeveloped, no water, no electricity and there is still a fishing village on the other side of the island but very serene and not much tourists back then. It's different now
