I have been fortunate enough to see them live 40+ times and have had the opportunity to meet them on a few occasions. I can't begin to describe how much this band and those guys mean to me. They were my "gateway" into heavy music. They are really the only band that I've completely stuck with since '98 or so. I love all different types of heavy music, and just music in general. But, the way they don't act like your typical rock stars and just keep their humility at the forefront, is so admirable and it keeps them as my clear number one band of all time. I got to hang backstage with them in Omaha when their bus broke down just outside of town and they welcomed my wife and I backstage as if we were legitimate members of their family. LJ offered us some beer and I believe it was Vinnie's birthday. Regardless, every member; LJ, Clint, Vinnie, John and Morgan were all so happy to talk with us. I even helped Morgan round out his fantasy football team. There's just really no other band like them. They have absolutely killed it live for 25+ years, they remain humble, they are great family guys, and their music hasn't gotten boring or formulaic. Thank you for posting this, Tank! LJ and the rest of the guys in 7D should be incredibly proud of what they've done for the music world.

My wife made some baby clothes for Lajons newborn about 7 years ago. She handed it to him outside of Janus Landing in St. Pete FL. We have been to every single show since than and Lajon still remembers our names and talks to us like old friends. This band truly loves the fans.

this is hands down one of the best interviews I've ever watched. I didn't want this thing to end. I'm a huge fan of 7Dust and my first "rock star moment" in radio happened as an intern w/ Lajon at a radio festival. He walked up to me and said "i have a joint with my name on it given to me by a fan and YOU'RE going to smoke it with me. Put my entire career at that point on the line to toke it up. So to see you bring out that natural, awesome energy of Lajon and remind me of that night it brought a bunch of excitement out in my day. YOU ROCK!

They really do make every show and backstage feel like a family. I have had to pleasure of seeing them over 100 times since 1999 and have been able to hang out with them so many times. Not because I am anybody. That's the thing, they make everyone feel important to them. I also have that Elvis VIP pass from 2010 Hard Drive Live Tour. Lou Brutus hooked me up with a couple of shows, poker with Sevendust and 10 Years, VIP parties, back stage passes, etc. What a great memory!

I've had the opportunity to hang out with 7D at a couple shows being best friends with another band who toured with them years ago. By far, the most down to earth, humble, real and sincere guys in the business. That aside, these guys are true road dogs, grinders and in your face touring monsters who have NEVER half assed a show. Their shows are so intense and completely exhaust you if you're participating in the show. They deserve all the good things in life. Keep rocking and hopefully (Tank), we can drive up from Memphis to the show in Murfreesboro! 🤘🤘🤘

I only found Sevendust because of your reaction to Fence, which is my gateway to Sevendust, but damn, what an awesome episode, and what an awesome dude, he seems like the most chill guy ever, these kinda episodes are my favourites, where it gets of track, because it just seems more natural, amazing job as usual Tank! 🖤🤘
