I just hope it does work, poor Falin has had it rough. Being eaten by a dragon and dissolved to bones. Being resurrected using goat meat and the dragon's blood only for the dragon's soul to combine with her's making her lose control, being controlled by a maniac dark elf and turned into a chimera.

That's what i like from Laios, he's too optimistic for his own good. also spoiler (don't read pass this point if you anime only) . . . . . . . . . Turns out it is true that the difficult part is finding enough people, at least from this plan. Though Laios is the only survivor during the battle with lunatic wizard, it didn't take him that long to beat the wizard, thanks to his knowledge about monster. On the other hand, the feast took them 7 days and 7 nights to fully digest the dragon part, that is also with the help of neighbor country after the old kingdom resurface which mean if the old kingdom didn't resurface then it'll probably took Laios far longer to eat all the dragon part.

​@@tooru5244spoiler too Another point I love from Meshi. It's not just about eating, but helping each other. Laios good nature won people's heart (Shiro, Kabru, probably the Lion?), eventhough they found him really annoying

She had been starving all this time because her current dragon form needed more energy to move, but she currently couldn't eat the food that bigger monsters usually eat and can only eat berries because she only has one mouth. It's sad to see her so desperate that she wants to eat walking mushrooms, aren't dragons carnivorous?

That just to show how self centered he is, pursuing his sole mission for his dear 'Delgal' while missing the fact he's using everyone while ignoring all their wants and wishes. Like how back then Delgal wished to be free from his immortality curse but Thistle ignored it, until he gone to dust thinking his king is only missing. Used someone like Falin, turned her into another creature to his benefit yet ignoring she can get hungry and have a hard time to digest food unlike other monsters since she's half human.
