Tongue-tied? It's an incredibly simple, basic song. Basically a damn lullaby! The only excuse for a song like this tripping you up is if English isn't your first language and you're still less than familiar with it.

His diction in this song is on point!! Do yourself a favor and look up the lyrics and then try following along while singing all the words in understandable form at this speed. This song is harder to do than most people realize. LOL!! The funny part is that he actually has a personal story that is all too similar to the lyrics of this song... Ask him about it sometime. It's your classic country boy's one time run in with the police kind of story. Oh Laine - I literally need you to do this on one of your CD's... such a cute fun song, and the fact that it's one of your Daddy's favorites... you need to make this happen. This little song is every southern kid's story at one point or another while growing up in the South. LOL! This is not just a Robin Hood song. ;)

I know it's petty, but damn it pisses me off that he gets the lyrics of the first verse wrong. It's 🎶Robin Hood & Little John *WALKING* through the forest/laughing back and forth at what the other'n has to say🎶 not 🎶Robin Hood & Little John *RUNNING* through the forest/laughing back and forth at what the other'n has to say🎶 They're WALKING through the forest in the first verse, not RUNNING! They're casually walking and hanging about the forest initially. They don't start RUNNING until the 3rd verse (or the 2nd verse if you consider the part about them the Sheriff catching them in the water to be more of a bridge than a verse), once the Sheriff and his posse surround them while they're in the water and start chasing them. Wouldn't make sense for Robin Hood & Little John to already be RUNNING through the forest BEFORE the Sheriff springs his trap on them. Plus it's better for the first part to have them walking through the forest and the SECOND part to have them running through it, as it conveys that they're being chased by the Sheriff and his posse. If they're running in both parts, the second part seems much less exciting. It's a nitpick I know, but wtf...
