My grandparents live there, and my mom grew up there. We go to Laguna a LOT!! I love it it's my favorite place in the world next to Baltimore.

Laguna Beach Looks so wonderful! I wish me and my family could stay at the Inn at Laguna Beach or the Montage Resort to see the great view of Laguna Beach.

my family spent spring break 2010 in california - it is beautiful.

it truly is a really beautiful town....one of my favs so far in Cali.

I have just come Laguna Beach yesterday. There is very beautiful and romantic city.

I went to Laguna Beach the after the first week of school over the weekend.It was my first time and it was beautiful!!

They are all so different. Laguna is very beautiful and romantic with gorgeous secluded coves. Huntington is a bit rough around the edges with a cool surf culture and museum. I've always loved Newport because I grew up going there and it has the Balboa Fun Zone and Wedge surf spot. Did you see my Newport Beach video as well?

Thanks for this. I was born and raised there. The Catholic Church on Temple Terrace is worth seeing. The main issue with Laguna in the summertime is parking. It is advisable to get a parking permit from the city. Thanks again for making this.

Went here last summer at the end of August, so amazing!! The beaches are beautiful, the water is clear and warm :) The shopping is amazing as well, wish I brought more money last time! Definitely want to go back!

To think that I was there just yesterday...and now..I'm back home on the east coast. Damn.

Nice work! I was watching some videos of the Amalfi Coast and saw you make a comment comparing that to Laguna. I used to live on Ocean Way just above Woods Cove, the most beautiful spot on the SoCal Coast. When you make another Laguna video you can include hiking, my favorite spots are Top of the World, take Park Ave up to the top of the hill and in North Laguna l at the end of Dartmoor take Boat Spur trail takes you up to a marvelous view of the entire coast from Dana Point to Malibu.

I go surfing on Laguna Beach all the time.

Hi Paul, Thanks! Yes, the beaches are quite different and much more beautiful in Orange County. I remember when I started going to school at Pepperdine in Malibu that I was really disappointed in their beaches. I've always been partial to Laguna and Newport. Maybe someday you can make it down and check them out. I think you'd have fun. And yes! That gelato was fantastic! I'm dreaming of it right now but I have to remember: MMEL. Veronica

@83trekker I love Woods Cove. It's hard to say on any particular day. You might also try Thousand Steps Beach.

I visited Laguna Beach twice in the mid to late '50s but have not had occassion to return yet. We were visiting my mother's friend, artist Ruth Peabody. I recognize the rocks shown here in Wisk Cove (sp.?) because I've seen them in a painting by Ruth that still hangs on my sister's wall. If anyone remembers the late Ruth Peabody, I'd like to hear from you. I also remember a bearded guy called The Greeter who smiled and waved at all the children. I'm sure he was a much-loved character.
