It's so nice to escape Tucson heat in the summer and go to San Diego. A half day drive or an hour flight.

Hi JeanieMarie. Take the middle “a” out of Balaboa and it is pronounced Bal-bow-uh and spelled Balboa. Look. No judgement. The names in California are super hard in some areas. I’m so glad you went there. It’s a wonderful park. So much to see and do there. You showed my home town beautifully. Thanks so much. La Hoy-ya. La Jolla is a long running joke amongst locals for how to pronounce it when family comes to visit. Your guess was pretty good. Most beautiful place along the coast in San Diego and San Diego County.

As a first time traveler to San Diego next week, I really enjoyed this video. It really helps to know that there is more than enough to do for my 12 year old. La Jolla looks like a must see destination. Thank you for sharing!

Lived in San Diego for 31 years before moving to Colorado. It was a great place to grow up. It's such a beautiful city with so much variety. Glad you got to enjoy it. The "zonies" from AZ are known to frequent the area on weekends and vacations, so now you fit right in!

I’ve only been to San Diego for a layover, never to explore the city, but what a cool landing that was and it looks like a beautiful city! Can’t wait to actually visit someday.

We were there in 2015, but didn't get to see much of the city because we got caught in traffic from LA to San Diego. So this was fun to be able to actually spend time there to see and explore it. Love San Diego!

Hi Jeanie Marie, Nice travel guide for the city with the best weather in the lower forty-eight - a Mediterranean-like climate. Interesting fact: Many of those gorgeous buildings in Balboa Park, constructed in the Spanish Colonial Revival and Mission Revival styles, were erected for the Panama-California Exposition in 1915-16.

Old town San Diego is actually the birthplace of California. Just FYI…. And it’s • Balboa: bahl-BOH-uh So, “Balboa Park” is pronounced as “bahl-BOH-uh pahrk.”

Wow, we also went to Balboa and didn't know about all the awesome architecture so cool, and the garden is so pretty. I think we were there possibly at the same time. My dad golfed at Torry Pines when I was little. The bluffs reminded me of a really awesome childhood vacation. I remember people paragliding it was so cool. I thought maybe someday. Thank you.

I recommend u guys trying "Handles" hand made ice cream shop next time u guys visit San Diego they are the best ive had in my opinion

Hey just found out AZ also has a few handles homemade ice cream locations all these time i thought handles was just a SoCal thing... well i still recomend and think is the best
