LAGQ premieres “Road to the Sun” by Pat Metheny
The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, the celebrated classical guitar ensemble that formed as students at USC and includes two current faculty members, performs “Road to the Sun,” a new work written for them by famed jazz guitarist Pat Metheny.

Pat Metheny never stops; never stops growing, exploring, and lifting other musicians and all of us who listen. With this latest album, Pat Metheny demonstrates his genius as a composer, but more than that, he shows his generosity; artistic and spiritual. We all share this world. Pat Metheny is the finest example of what a human being is capable of than I have ever known in 70 yrs on planet Earth. We would all do well to aspire to half of what he has accomplished in his life. And he isn't done yet. Thank you, Pat. For all of it.

amazing composition by PM - and the four masters are the ideal "counterpart" for their interpretation..
Just got me new disc sitting between my new Legacy Focus SE was incredible hearing this album!
