Even before watching the video , commenting my personal thoughts - Lagavulin 16 is definitely one of my personal favourites. Opened a bottle for my birthday this year and polished it all off. Purchased for Liquid Gold for 8500 , but all I can say is price is on the higher side nowadays if compared to other cult classic Islay Whiskeys. Their price increase has been crazy thus I prefer Caol Ila these days PS: Did you purchase anything from the duty free ?

I’m a laphroaig guy myself over lagavulin but it’s still a great dram, shame it’s had a recent price increase over here in the UK though :( no longer as value for money!

This dram has medicinal notes which is not my personal liking, can get two bottles of caol ila at this price so prefer the later one cheers

Never tried it coz of the price, one day for sure. My fav is Laphroig 10, Caol Ila and Ardbeg 5 for smoky whiskies.

Oaksmith gold aur star walker hamare yaha 1900rs tak jaate hai bolo. Loot macha rakha hai.

It was good when it was being sold around 7k. Price is not justified at 12.5k in Gurgaon (last I saw). Better half got this for me from Frankfurt duty free at around 8.5k. Over the last 10 years, the flavours are died down a little bit - not just for Laga but also for Laphraoig and Ardbeg which were traditionally more full bodied. Try out Port Charlotte next whenever you get the chance. You won't regret it.

@@KanwarAnand Is mostly available at Mumbai Duty free outlet. Availability in Delhi duty free is sporadic. Haven't seen this in Gurgaon
