They have this song, and then they have "A Sprengisandi", which although sounds dark and depressing, is ironically a lullaby. Icelandic music is weird, but in a good way.

We usually sing this on the 6th of January to celebrate the end of Christmas and the old pagan tradition that says that elves move around on January 6th
I have travelled quite a lot in many beautiful place but for some reason Iceland really caught me off guard, it felt like a really special place, almost like another planet. When you read about the place history, you can only admire the people who settle on such a harsh land back then, it created a special culture for sure.

Yeah, there's not muslims immigrants from the 4th world.
I was doing research for a fictional continent and Iceland fits it perfectly, all the other continents are basically a mash up of different things (Italian features with the language being a combination of Spanish and French while also being located in a swampy area??) So I really want to see what would work

A viking is simply a person who "goes to viking". It's not even a job title or military rank. It's basically like referring to someone as a "participant" - you're only a viking WHILE you're conducting viking activity - i.e. raiding and pillaging.
