When my mother passed away I drove up to the high mountains and found a place to camp for 3 days, I listened to Olafur with the car door open as I sat alone by the fire and I wept. I had a long conversation with God until I fell asleep by the fire, I did this for three consecutive days then after the third day I knew it was time to leave the sorrow behind. The drive back home was quiet with deep sighs, I miss my mom and all my mourning can't bring her back but I shall go to her...

I don’t remember how I came upon Olafur’s music, but I am forever grateful for that moment. Thanks for the incredible art you give us all🙏
