I found this last night. I have listened 6 times, now. I’ve been grieving and in survival mode for many years. My grandfather was a pianist. When I was a child I would sit next to him while he played piano and enamored by his hands moving across the keys … such beautiful melodies healing .. thank you for this masterpiece

My heart just exploded. At 54 years of age, and after a traumatic brain/head injury I found the piano and began composing a certain sound that I thought only I understood, so I kept it hidden in a way. Then I hear this, and I know my entire being isn’t alone in the majesty and gift of life. Tonight, I cried a little in happiness.

Being forced to move due to landlord selling the house, stressed beyond stressed trying to find a home for my family and hit a breaking point. Had a mini melt down, sat down to try and calm my nerves and put some music on. Found this and wow...am I glad a clicked it. So relaxing and as someone else said, ethereal. I read about her music just now, she grew up in the next town over from my childhood town, which has basically the same views that inspired her music and I think because of that this art resonates very deeply with me. The brooding dark clouds hanging low, dominating, oppressive, smothering in a windy storm. But looking out to the sea you might see birds circling some god rays in the distance and beyond that the steep shores of Strandir, that are close but feel like a far away distant mystery land, that part of Iceland is one of the least populated.

She is good at this, other women thrive in ourageous costumes and how impressive the range of performances there are! One woman's beauty isn't the lack of anothers.

The recent news from Haiti to Afghanistan and the ongoing stress and fear regarding the Delta variant… I am listening to this daily - as a break from the chaos, to briefly experience calmness and serenity, or as a means to release tears. This music is medicine. Thank you. 🙏🏽♥️

listening the first time, here in Irpin, Ukraine - I would say it sounds as a mood in the city. Like a hope that war will end soon, because city not bombing anymore (thanks God + US/EU/Ukraine forces yet). But there is a lot of infrastructure and homes are ruined. Anyway, thanks for such deep and beautiful music.
