Outstanding video! I would really like to see it run on the stock motors at least once just to see how it performs and see a speed run just to see how fast it goes (might only go closer to 20.... but I have no idea). Even if it is like a 2 minute video with just a quick speedrun and hit it from a stop a few times. It is also fun to see how far you take it when you mod it! 🚀 That battery tray is nice and secure though I like a more flexible space for LIPOs (only because like you I like to speedrun everything even if it has no business being speedrun).🤣 I am struggling to understanding what the purpose of the dual motors when one brushless would probably cost less and provide much better performance. I agree, it looks pretty cool and very "sporty" under the body!

I am going to do that tmrw, I am going to speed run it on 2s, then 3s again, it will not handle 4s, yep..I tried 🤣 I'm going to be running it and the 2997a. Btw, there will be some laegendary thunder videos dropping soon, she is back together, finally!

Real quick update, I went ahead and ran this thing on 3s, 28.2 mph max! I'll upload a video of it and the HBX soon!

Just saw this after my comment... awesome, looking forward to see it. I guess 20 might not have been a bad guess for 2s. You think you toasted the stock motors running it on 3s? Happy Fathers Day right back at you! Do you have any interest it trying out Urgenex? Their 2s 5,000 mAh rips pretty good for its price point and they are great to work with. Not sure if they have a min subscriber number they want.... but if so maybe in a couple of months!

It's a solid truck, I will be upgrading the friction shocks and I did measure the motors, I can swap 2847 right in there, exactly what's in the HBX 2997a. Imagine this little thing with twin brushless 2847's! It's coming 😉

This would be a great beginner truck for someone getting into the hobby if they would drop the price, I wouldn't even consider this truck over their Thunder for the $20 difference in price. Next time I run this truck or show this truck on the channel it will be brushless! Thanks for stopping by!
