Ladybug Movement Card

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Combining the Ladybug Bundle with dies from Give it a Whirl can be loads of fun. The result is a ladybug that "flies" around the daisy flower. I enjoyed designing this card and can't wait to show you all the tricks to making this card "work". The magnets used are Rare Earth Magnets. I purchased a 10 piece set from Harbor Freight.

@@CreativeTreehouse no problems your tips on the magnets and the elevation of the card layer were very helpful and well explained.

Fun card! I had my hubby pick up some magnets from our brand-new Harbor Freight store this morning, He walked in and asked the checkout person for "rare earth magnets" and they were right there at the checkout! Thanks! I can't wait to try this later today! BTW, you have lovely hands and nails. I'm very self-conscious of my hands. They are getting "old-looking", which is one reason I'm so hesitant to do my own videos. Yours are so pretty! I enjoy watching them.

Thank you, Carol!! How fun that you have a brand-new Harbor Freight and that the magnets were so easy to find. My hubby loves that store! Thank you for the nail compliment. I had actually touched up a nail right before I filmed this and unfortunately it wasn't completely dry. I really messed it up during filming but decided to go with that take anyway. Sometimes you just have to be real - which I'm trying to learn. Enjoy making the card! I've seen your work and I always love your designs! Happy crafting!

@@CreativeTreehouse I too am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in Denver, CO. I am going to make your card with my club members in March. I was looking for a "Wow" lady bug card and yours is perfect. I will give you all the credit and maybe some new KZread subscribers. Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Robin I watched you create this card and would love to case it but I didn't hear any measurements?? I was wondering if they are available please.

I used an A2 card base - 8 1/2 inches × 5 1/2 (scored at 4 1/4). The landscape background (you can use the Horizon DSP) is cut out with the die from the Give It A Whirl - so it will be a touch smaller than an A2 front. I think that is about it. If you have other questions, let me know. Thanks so much for watching! Have fun CASEing.
