I get why people really hate having the songs but I LOVE them. I personally loved the movie but NEED those deleted scenes

In my opinion, this movie was made to apease those fans who kept making requests about "when is the reveal?" or "Just get them together already"... and the creators were like "Here's an alternate version, now shut up!"😂

I actually liked the songs. I may not be a musical fan, but i don't really mind them. I LOVED all of Adrien's songs, the singer for him was PERFECT! 👌😩 Also I LOVED hawkmoth's song.😂

Personally I think the way they distributed the songs is a bit jarring to me. Marinette has three "I want" songs for some reason

The studio announced it was a musical when they announced the movie... This movie lined up some of the characters in the 2d animated PV. So if they are mimicking that a bit, then the next movie will likely have Rena rouge.

ok so this is prolly gonna be a long comment but yea… i personally feel how i didn’t like how they changed the name of the movie to “ladybug and cat noir the movie” which was originally going to be called the awakening. i felt like it would make more sense if they had kept it because the second and third one could be called something else and the first one would be, well, the awakening lol. i also really love the songs and i also am upset that christina vee didn’t sing because she’s sooo talented! but personally i feel like lou fit the voice of those songs more tho. lou has a beautiful voice and i am slightly upset but at least they didn’t like get a bad singer lol. i’m not too mad about adrien/cat noir’s singing voice because i thought it was the same person at first! anyways i have a lot of more opinions and comments on this movie but this comment is sooo long so tell me what you agree and disagree with my opinions! 💗

5:29 I liked much more how Marinette got her earrings in the movie more than the series, because in the series it was just that she helped him cross the road and then just wow, you're ready to save the world, but in the movie you really see why she's a good choice, she was amazing and did something that we all would like to do it but lt's damm scary, she just jumped with her instincts to save his life, but even then if you noticed the moment she did it a Tiki, just Tiki, flew from his hands to Marinette's bag, and he noticed it, from the beginning Peleg And Tiki ran away because they knew they wanted to choose the new superheroes themselves and actually do the work they know to do, so I assume that after Tiki ran away, Pelag also ran away and chose Adrien himself because they feel or see through hearts who is suitable or something.

I think the movie was pretty good 7.5/10. I really liked the stronger together song. You forgot about how they only gave Ladybug a Disney transformation sequence but not Chat Noir or Hawkdaddy.

yeah i also probably rate it a 7.5/10 or a 8/10

I really thought they gave Bryce Papenbrook singing lessons, that's how similar the singer sounded to him. Marinette's singer has a great voice but it took me out of the moment and i couldn't stop thinking about it

I listened to all the songs on a 2 hour car ride on loop

The “you are ladybug” song I really loved

their voices sounds so different while they were singing💀

Watching this in cinema was a great experience

I really like the visuals. Even if you’re not a Miraculous fan, or if you don’t like the movie, you can at least appreciate how beautiful the animation and visuals are. They definitely make up for the basic plot in my opinion.

the deleted scenes could be because it was originally a disney movie then disney kind of abandoned it, so netflix may not have been allowed to use the scenes.

The Awakening movie is one of those movies where you wait for 1 year for it to release and you can't wait for it then when it finally releases you're like oh that's the movie and doesn't really care at all anymore. To me, it was like that

Regarding the movie? Beats the hell out of me! However, my eight-year-old granddaughter loved it. She even had me buy this box of "Miraculous" cereal w/the characters on it, when I took her w/me shopping.

This might be an unpopular opinion. But I don't think Lou can sing English well. She kinda sounds like she's slurring her words as well as mumbling.

when i saw it i wasn't a miraculous fan but the movie is what made me a fan and i'm literally obsessed with the series now idk why

The only thing that was bad about this movie was Plagg! That's not the tsndere caring cheese loving Cat I know! It's a fucking abomination! Whoever decided to make Plagg a fart joke is on my hate list.

Plagg’s character made me mad. I didn’t really care at first- like I was laughing but they completely changed his character from his character in the show. I get it’s a completely different universe but COMPLETELY changing the character is bs

Never watched the show but watched tons of entertaining reviews of people ripping it apart. And yeah the show is a damn mess. The more "unique" feature of the show is the love square which as you said sounds cute on paper but my god I could not bare to watch the stupid will they won't they for 5. 5 entire seasons. All I know from the show is the reviews of it, and what I got was, Marinette is a stalker who is obsessed with this poor teenage boy, said teenage boy lives a miserable life being objectified by all the romantic rivals Marinette gets rid of throughout the show because it's "romantic", the side characters barely matter, and the only one who does (Chloe) gets vilified and deemed as a forever evil entity (she is 14). My god. Miraculous is a mess. So I watched the movie. And... gonna be honest I really liked it. It's trashy fun. It's a lighthearted and very sweet. Gone are the stalker tendencies, gone are the continuous advances after the girl said no, replaced with genuinely charming banter and building of a friendship between both identities at the same time (Adrien + Marinette, Ladybug + Chat Noir). I truly believe the only reason people find this movie so good or better than the show is because... sadly this movie did what the show didn't in 5 seasons. The bare f**king minimum. I don't blame the movie for being rushed or having very bare bone fleshing out of characters, they did have to cram 5 seasons into an hour and 40 min. There are things the movie could have done better. Honestly the music was fine but not everything needs to be a musical. Coming as someone who loves musicals, this should not have been one. The show itself isn't. It could have been 10 - 15 min longer. Why did we need so many scenes with Marinette's parents. She gets a lot of scenes with them for some reason but the one character who NEEDED scenes with his parent barely gets 2. Like come on. Give those min of screentime to Adrien and Gabriel Agreste instead. And then use the rest of those min to flesh out the romance of the characters a little more. Especially when they're "off mask" (Why the hell would Marinette 'choose' Adrien, the guy she's barely friends with, over Cat Noir, who she has been through so much with and saved her life so many times) But you know what. It's fine. It's a perfectly fine movie. Nothing too wrong about it, it's a movie to truly turn your brain off and enjoy with popcorn. Some scenes are genuinely so charming. Some of the jokes are quite funny, the action scenes are an absolute delight. I have to say my favorite scene in the entire movie was when the two protags just stopped for a second to have some fun and play fight. I don't know why but my god that was so cute. Like for once you can see a little bit past these fearsome powerful heroes and realize the teenagers they are inside. Who just stop for a second after their constant lives of danger, to have wholesome fun with each other. I loved that.

Okay I have a lot to say about this move but since I'm lazy I’ll make it short. The musical part really didn’t bother me that much cause if you want me to watch the movie it has to be either at least a little fantasy or a musical. Why are all the adults in this movie so ugly like Sabine was the only one that looked decent. Honestly for me personaly songs are forgetable. WHY DOES ADRIEN LOOK LIKE A FIVE YEAR OLD! Why do kwamis have fingers?!

Well, they thought they won. They thought that hawkmoth was gone and everything would go back to normal. Clearly from the end scene we know the second movie will be about Myura who they don’t know of yet.

I love the movie, but the only thing I hate they Forgot WAY TO MANY THINGS like M’lady and lucky charm They barely added cataklysm etc.

Bit disappointed I couldn’t watch the cinema release, but loved every minute of it especially the songs, I thought they were necessary for the movie. I was waiting for the wall between us song but we were robbed, Ofc 😒 . I think they replaced it with the ladynoir song, but if it was 2-hours long we could have still got

I just hate how the songs never progressed the plot, I love musicals and a mucical is supposed to progress the plot tru song but all the songs are in all in ppls head. That montage was unnecessary bc it took away from me becoming attached to the characters, and that's really bad bc I literally watch the show but wasn't attached to them in the movie 😭
