While in some circumstances which the Supreme Court envisage it may be necessary to perform a pat down the police take it to extremes and use it for everyone they just don't like. It's up to the people to pressure their Government to force new legislation that prevents the ad hoc pat downs and tell the Supreme Court that they are not the font of all knowledge and wisdom. If police used real evidence like seeing a bulge under clothing to justify a pat down almost 100% of them performed would find a weapon or something to prove their own eyes correct, but they don't so it's just a bodily trespass. .

You’re 100% correct. Southern drawl channel broke it down on one of his last videos and they’re definitely abusing that Supreme Court ruling. It’s pretty complicated to understand for people who are not lawyers but it has given cops too much discretion. Nobody seemed to care when it was mostly happening to minorities but now it’s happening to everyone.

I had over 150 bicycle tickets in Sacramento county California each one was over 557 dollars for speeding on a bicycle 🚲😂 the judge she asked me when I went to court how should I judge this case I told her it's not my place to judge your honor she said good answer case dismissed😂 and then she find the officers which was only three 1500 a piece but I never got that money ever. But every time I go through Sacramento they still say I have a warrant for my arrest😂😂

However when you start making statements about your situation you will eventually give them some probable cause that didn’t exist. It’s always best to shut up. Then shut up shutting up. But question their motives for everything. Don’t judge people who are forced into dealing with these situations. It’s always, hard to deal with a tyrant who could go off the deep end, and probably get a reward for his bad behavior.

Terry v Ohio gave police the right to pat frisk annindividual if they reasonably that a CRIME has been committed and that they suspect a person is armed. A traffic violation is an infraction, not a crime, and they have articulated nothingbregarding their belief that a weapon is present. Therefore, Terry v Ohion DOES NOT apply!
