I liked it, she was testifying telling the saints what she and her family is going thru, and telling people that praying is a powerful tool and is her weapon to deal with the devil. You guys are quick to criticize and hate on others without understanding or love. She is in a battle with the devil and is dealing with it by praying. Nothing wrong with her testimony. Update 06/18/2016 I love when everybody comments and speaks your mind, but I had to ban about 10 Carter supporters for calling people names and cursing. If you want to come and defend Carter that's cool, but please treat people that disagree with you with respect. This is a gospel channel, and kids watch this channel so please watch your language.

You are to be admired! Sometimes things done in public have to be addressed in public. Some things you just can’t skirt around. Very gracious testimony. Powerful testament of prayer. Profound moment of transparency for Lady Blake. Women of God must learn how to fight their battles. Be transparent. Whenever someone rise up against your covenant you must be BATTLE READY. The only thing I didn't agree with is the perception that women are weaker with a bean shooter. No, that is far from the truth. She gave them meat to know as women, wives to know how to fight the good fight. We do far more than look pretty and blink. We're in battle in another dimension. Are weapons are not carnal, BUT MIGHTY for the bringing down of STRONGHOLDS through God.

This was the COGIC Womens Convention and she was telling the women to pray for their husbands and afterwards give the comfort the husband will need. No need to say her testimony was out of order....Mother Blake was on point.

Yesterday, Judy McAllister reminded me of Proverbs 6:16-19: “These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A FALSE WITNESS who SPEAKS LIES, & one who SOWS DISCORD AMONG BRETHREN.” Many leaders & their families are constantly & deeply hurt & by some of the most terrible acts of slander, some by people who testify of Jesus. Knowing this, with dignity & godly restraint, Lady Mae Blake reminds the ladies of COGIC of the power they hold in prayer. She spoke as one who has felt these wounds, personally. She feels hurt for her husband, a wise and godly leader who has a good report all over the world. She feels pain for her own family, her local church & the denomination. And if she did not love each of them so much, those cruel, hateful & slanderous words, spread and nurtured by a few, would not hurt so deeply. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, & he uses the mouths of people to murder reputations. No wonder God hates lies & finds slander an abomination. One does not even need to call the slanderer’s name. Psalm 15 asks, “Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?” Who? Listen to the response: “He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart; He who DOES NOT BACKBITE WITH HIS TONGUE, Nor does evil to his neighbor, NOR TAKES UP A REPROACH against his neighbor; In whose eyes a vile person is condemned, But he honors those who fear the Lord.” Those who have done this evil should apologize, not entertain such for even a moment. I am reminded of Korah, Dathan & Abiram, who gathered leaders to undermine & falsely accuse Moses. One day God had enough. God’s people were told to separate from those conspirators. Those who did not separate? The earth swallowed them all. As a former Pastor, District & Regional Superintendent, Jurisdictional Board member, and one who has worked closely with Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake for many years, I can tell you some of these false & ridiculous claims are unbiblical and not supported by facts or the witnesses scripture requires. Further, they are destructive to the mission of the Church, as the world is watching and our testimony is undermined. It must truly grieve the Holy Spirit. So I remind all, as Paul told Timothy: “Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from two or three witnesses. Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.” Even in this forum cursing & negative stuff had to be removed. That should not be. I appreciate those who have loved these precious people and covered them with love, prayer and repudiation of slander. Out of order? Hogwash! This dear lady taught all of us how to deal with it when it comes our way. Thank you for sharing it & I am so sorry the Blake family has had to endure such degrading infamy! I say enough of this destructive, ungodly foolishness. Leave the lying, cursing, threatening, slandering folk to their own devices. Lady Mae is right. Pray. I love Jesus, but stopped going to church because of the jealousy, vindictiveness and personal attacks I saw in EVERY church/denomination. I'm still searching for a congregation that follows the word as it relates to our brothers & sisters in the pews & pulpit. This lady's graceful but strong defense of her family is refreshing. So did your beautiful testimony & reliance on the Gospel. Amen & Bless you Mr. Robinson.

I've read all of the comments here. While it is sad all around with the Blake vs. Carter "war", to me this is an excellent testimony. I know there are those who will say Mrs. Blake is out of order here. I just think she has a right to say what she needs to say. I think she is entitled to stand up for her household. Her remarks were incisive, precise, courageous, powerful and downright on point!!! I absolutely LOVED it!!! Sure, there are those in the peanut gallery who may say the remarks were out of order. That she violated some sort of decorum by using that platform at that moment to share your feelings. That it isn’t the place of the First Lady to take the podium and join in a fight with her husband - especially the wife of the Presiding Bishop... That’s what I have seen posted. But to me, all that is preposterous. I don’t know about all that decorum stuff. But what I do know is her choice to express her position as she talked about the power of prayer was revolutionary. Bold. It was proper. And in my humble opinion, she had every right to stand before the women of the Church of God in Christ especially when we know that tongues are wagging..... I'm just sayin....

I agree Greg J. But sadly you missed the 40 something other comments I had to delete. The people that support Carter came on here cursing and calling people names, so since this is a gospel channel that kids watch I had to delete a bunch of nasty comments and ban some of his supporters from this channel. I've had this channel for along time and never had to ban people for language until Carter started making videos. It has become too much drama to a supposely peaceful praise God channel. I've been geting stalked now with some of his crazy supporters, so I know something aint right with what he is doing, because so-called holy saints of God don't be acting like demons. But I agree with you she was testifying on what she and her family is going thru and how she is using prayer to fight the battle, nothing wrong with what she said or the platform she said it on. I don't get why everybody wants the Blakes to be quiet while they are attacked every single week on KZread. That's crazy, I will be stressed out if I was lied on in front of the World every single week.

I believe sometimes GOD will place a husband in a prominent position creating trails and challenges so that thousands if not millions could be blessed this kind message that we heard tonight. Was she not brought to the kingdom or to the forefront for such a time as this?

She is so feminine and classy as well as Godly. Her husband loves him some Lady Mae Blake... We need more mothers like this to teach the young women. I was at church yesterday and a lot of these younger women don't even wear proper foundational garments. Dresses too tight, too short, even wearing short shorts to church. You're not allowed in the mosque dressed like that. Where are the church mothers?

For ppl following Carter all I have to say didn't Saran take a 3rd of heaven ?

It would be great to see Blake and Carter reconcile their differences. The situation is pitiful and all sides are coming off as being unloving.

I wouldn't be able to reconcile with Carter after what he did. To call somebody a child molester without proof or victims to back you up, because you hurt is one of the worst things you can do to somebody. I just think spreading evil rumors because Blake hurt your feelings is some wicked stuff. I don't see how people can defend Carter for what he is saying, this dude is saying some nasty vile stuff without any evidence in his videos.You not only hurting Blake, but you affecting the Grandchildren. Blake gave him a year to take the videos down, but Carter refused. And I don't blame Blake for protecting his name and taking Carter to court. What Carter is doing could make a person kill himself if that person wasn't strong enough or couldn't bare to take it, so I'm praying for the entire Blake family.

Instead of him handling this IN-HOUSE (behind closed doors with He and Carter or even the Board and Cater), instead he made a PUBLIC video rebuking Carter and separating himself from Carter. Now THAT is what started the firestorm. Those are facts! Had he handled it privately (like the Bible says), it would have been done and over by now. The LEADER should always be the mature one and take the high road and kept it in-house. Carter went public AFTER Blake went public rebuking him. SMH

It baffles me how you guys are against sin, but yet here is a guy sinning and you guys blame Blake. Carters hateful message against sinners not sin went viral in a negative way. Blake had to apologize and he did the right thing because the church doesn't preach hate for sinners. Carter could have did a lot of things in response to Blake, but he chose to sin. Carter has a big history of sinning so it didn't surprise me when he started telling lies and gossip. I'm just shocked godly folks support a liar.

He immediately went public and made a video! If you can't get that then I can't help you. I'm not saying Carter is right for doing what he's doing, but i'm NOT going to ignore that Blake was absolutely wrong and unbiblical to go public. BLAKE sowed that seed and he's reaping it. I bet you next time he'll handle private business in private. Because you love a person doesn't mean you defend them when they're wrong. All of it is wrong. There shouldn't be know fights at all. We are Gods people. We should be loving and forgiving. Yes we disagree, yes we get upset or angry. But Gods people don't throw shade on each other. The world acts like this. We suppose to be different. We should live above our flesh. Not in our flesh. Coming up in ministry I would always hear how these "young saints" are rating up the church, and how the older saints need to take us back. Ummm but look what they are doing. Who's going to take us back? Not folk that are fighting each other. I live in a community Riddled with gangs, gun violence, teenage pregnancy, poverty, homeless, broken homes and educational systems, decaying churches that are physically, and spiritually broken. Thus is in most of our churches community's being that more than 95 percent of our churches are in black communities or the people who attend them live in these communities. That being said. We don't have time fight each other.
