I remembered crying because all my friends and family were laughing at me because of how much I love lady gaga! But I couldn’t careless anymore, because of her , I’m alive now. If not I would be gone by now. Thank you lady gaga for being my pillar of strength up till today! I will always support you in whatever you’re doing in life! my mother was a radiologist, she worked for years helping people conquering cancer, some did, some did not, those stories of life and dead where part or the family dinner table conversation for me as a kid, and after surviving my operation at 5 and almost dying, this song just gets me every time, I know that she had not cancer on her mind, but nevertheless to me, it has a really powerful message... she is a real artist, and chemo just fucking sucks.

I just dyed my hair pink, AND I'M AS FREE AS MY HAIR.

I'm in no way a musician, but the way gaga is moving, I can just feel the artist in her. You can see she's performing but in her own bubble. She's truly an amazing artist and I don't care what anyone says.

I still remember the first time I listened to this song. I was 11 years old and I just felt like Gaga had written it just for me. I was dealing with a lot of school bullies & they targeted me because I loved Gaga so much and even had a school bag with her photo on it :') Let's just say it made me who I am today and I would not have been able to be myself if it wasn't for Gaga and this song.

this is honestly.. one of the best live performances I've seen. And not just by Lady Gaga, but sort of of all time. The way she connects with the audience at the beginning.. and then that massive rush of instruments (2:50- 4:51) Brilliant.!

Born this way album helped to find a way to love myself.. And no, I'm not gay, I don't think Gaga's music is made just for gay community as many people say. Lyrics talk to different people to accept, who they are, because they matter and all those differences among them make them beautiful and original.

she should perform this song more, it's so underrated and the message is powerful enough to inspire and motivate us. it's like marry the night's sister.

Let me guess did it take her also 10 minutes to write this one? It absolutely knocks me backwards when I hear that some of her most popular tunes where written in minutes, she is a phenomenal artist, and it will take a heck of a lot to rival her. I'm still waiting for an artist that I can say even remotely equals her.

Because this is one of Gaga's most vulnerable moments. This is inspired by some of her dark moments as a teen, and she's sharing this with her audience, with you. To put it in perspective, Swine is about the time she was raped, and that isn't THIS vulnerable. Who is the real Lady Gaga? Bradley Cooper talked her into appearing that way, and it was a hard sell. Why? Because the REAL Lady Gaga is the person you see always wearing a wig. That's her natural look. Now, imagine her being 15 or 16, and struggling with this, fighting with her parents (whom she loves very much) over this, and realizing all this years later, and putting it down in a song. I only listen to this song in special occasions. When I feel down and I want some dosis of power en self-love. Gaga did that, she wrote a song which the weirdos can relate to. I will always love her and be thankful for being there for me when no one else was.
