She was a normal girl and she became Lady Gaga. She was normal, bullied, sad and with her talent and her genius she became important for the world. This is my hope to be influent like her one day, to help other people like she's doing. Art's never wrong, we must love ourselves and then the others.

She's so inspirational

This video made me cry. I'm an adult woman. But I was that kid. When I was 11, my friend and I found her mom's stash of her shade. We each took a box and dyed our hair. The color was only a few shades darker than mine, but when I washed it out and I looked in the mirror. In that moment, for the first time I was happy to look in a mirror. I saw that my hair could be my outward expression of the imagination and art in my mind. It was a canvas. I've never looked back. My hair is different all the time. Today I re-bleached my hair (I had a nice silver) and decided to bleach my brows, too. I was so unsure of what I'd done to my brows, and about an hour later, I saw this. It couldn't have come at a better time. I was so scared, but only of what other people thought. And as always, Mother Monster scooped me out of my sadness and fear. (Also, my hair and brows look amazing.)

lady gaga is the most inspirational person to me. listening to her songs made me brave and always made me feel better when i felt down

I suffer from Asperger's syndrome. I have behavioral issues because of it and I'm bullied because of it. I also have axiety and suffer from depression. My friend mentioned this song to me last year and I listen to it everyday because she mentioned it. This song got me out of depression and it was saying, I am who I am and that's okay! You go Gaga! Wish I could've seen u at the born this way ball tho but I was 11, and didn't really listen to u then!

I had been attached to my hair since I was little, but when I was 5 I donated my hair to wigs for kids, simply cut it and handed it to the lady and I was happy. I used it to hide my face, my shames and insecurities. I blasted this song when I was getting my hair cut and cried my eyes out, a weight was lifted and I could finally keep my head up. It's beautiful when you find yourself, strive for that.

I think so too. This song is the bane of how I was feeling for such a long time, yet my mom thinks the song that I identify most with is "Halo" by beyonce. XD On a lighter note, she helped me gain more trust in who I was, and by an extension, free me from suffering. I always felt out of place, and been called as out of place, never fitting in. My clothes were too this, too that, my ideas were "too out there" and too obscure. I was aiming too high, way way high. I can barely remember how it was listening to all of these comments, but writing this one gives me a pain in my chest I felt when I was kicked around before. I don't care how anti-vegan her meat dress was, or how flashy her fashion is. She has some pippes, she has a message, and her message is one of unity and acceptance. TRUE acceptance of all colors, sexuality, and identities. I will forever defend what Gaga stands for and will defend her anytime someone has to say something shitty to her. To deny her talent, her artistic expression is to denounce everything that is right. " i'm going to put this big funny piece of teal on my hair, and I tell you, I feel fabulous... because it is my freedom, and my choice to do so"

I met her only a couple of days ago in the city. I told her I watch this everyday, because it makes me live through everyday not having a single care on this planet. I am regularly bullied and I said I knew what it was like to not be accepted on those lunch tables. We both started crying. Nothing will ever top that moment when I told my idol how much she means to me. I love you so much Gaga.

This is the best thing i've ever seen, Gaga is such a source of inspiration, every time i hear this song i feel safe, i forget about all the mean things people in my school say to me about my hair and the way that i'm dressed, my teachers dont like it, people make fun of me because of my hair etc.. but this song makes me just happy, or makes my day a little bit better. I'm a Little Monster from as long as i can remember, she has been a big part of my life, and i just love her so much for what she does, i'm very thankful to Lady Gaga. since i was like 5, if my hair was kinda long, my mom use to sit me at the front of the mirror and cut my hair as short as was possible, because she thought that if she let it grow, i would became a bad kid, a tramp, an idiot. i became like 14 and she still was doing it. and this song was the only one thing that made me feel safe those mornings when i had to woke up crying and going to school all shaved. :( i felt so ashamed. she never understood. now she did it, im 17. but those days at middle school really really changed me.

But I dedicate this song to my parents who thought that cutting my hair could control me little did they know I got what Stephanie got bullied now this was a while back for sure before there was a word called bullied so my mom's best friend bought me a wig and I would play with it for hours my stepfather got mad jealous of the wig and burn it it wasn't until I was 12 and they cut it off the last time and I said if you want a boy you got one.
