Lady Gaga ARTPOP Mask ♈ - Sire Sasa tutorial 74

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

ARTPOP Mask, from the promotion picture of the upcoming fourth studio album by Lady Gaga. This was quite easy to make, only took me one hour and 15 minutes. Editing the video took 4 to 6 times more time, so you could probably understand why I don't like editing anymore. Took me whole day, but I made this prop and video in one day.
Materials: Kapa Mount board, cardboard, transparent plastic sheet, rubber band, pencil, paperknife, scissors, hot glue gun.

I hate normal boring life myself, and that's one of the big reasons I love Lady Gaga. She is so out of this World, out of normal boringness. I want to create something of that outworldliness myself and share it with my fans and viewers, to share the happiness.

Normal people who have boring lives love to see the idols in their fashionable, rich and luxurious life. Like musical artists, film stars and royalty. Seeing something greater than their own miserable existence is a great escapistic way of making their minds happier. People waiting days outside the hospital in London, where the new crown prince was just born, had one of their greatest experiences there, this is what they actually said. We should give them even these small moments of happiness.

Making this video reminded me of my good old days in KZread in summer 2010, when I had so much fun making videos I did them in every other day (one day making the prop and another day editing the video). This video was also fun to make, which is sadly a rarity nowadays. It is so because this prop was easy, quick and fun to make, and I really wanted to make it myself. I instantly wanted to have it when I saw it. I didn't do this because people asked me to, I did this because I wanted to.

You should practise more that you could make it yourself, and then the biggest joy comes from the fact that you've made it yourself! Have a little faith in you, it doesn't require special skills or talent, just hard work called practise.

This is a classic Sire Sasa tutorial, it has the animated intro picture, it has "the hole" in Gaga's mask, where the camera zooms to a first scene, a thing I haven't used in a long time, but which I used to make to all videos possible back in the day of old KZread three years ago. This has me putting the mask on the camera, a classic ending sequence, and even an homage to my old video Dance in the Dark Mask, the slow motion hair sweep. Only thing different is the narration instead of subtitles.

Why do you think it's weird to build something which already exists? Everything is based on something made before. It is a fun hobby to me to practise my skills on crafting while recreating Gaga's outfits on this KZread channel of mine. I have another channel in which I make different stuff, short films and tutorials of many different things. It requires a lots of creativity to invent the methods of making something by just looking at a picture of it.

Haha, thank you! I am a graphic design student. BUT I must define that my studenthood ans studies in University of Applied Sciences has nothing to do with my skills as an artist and a craftsman. I am completely self-taught in that matter. I've spent my hle life drawing and crafting and thus perfecting my abilities in those fields. It doesn't require any education, studies or "talent" of some kind to become a master at any things. Just my doing the thing you can master it. It takes 10 000 hours.

And that is something which used to be the fun in KZread, the fun of being a KZreadr and a prop maker. Now I have too many fans who always ask me to make everything, I don't like that. I have said that I don't want any requests anymore, but they don't listen. Making big and time-consuming props is very frustrating sometimes, something smaller for a change is like a fresh breath of wind in a sweaty summer day. Damn these KZread comments are limited, maybe I post this on Fac - 0 characters left

By the way, we actually a laser cut machine in our school, but I don't yet know how to use it. Anyway, it's thousand times faster to cut these things by hand and knife that go to school and wait for the machine to be free, then drawing the pattern on computer and cut it with it. And I appreciate hand crafted things much MUCH more than machine made, such as laser cut things and 3D-printed sculptures.

Because this mask is so simple, there is nothing to dislike in it. Since there's only three elements, which make this mask: the shape, the material and the colour. Now, you must think that some of them are unattractive in your mind. Which is it then? Do you not like rounded shapes? If so, you must hate tableware and Apple products! Do you not like transparent materials? If so, you must hate glasses and windows! Do you not like white colour? If so, you must hate paper, saucers, and white shirts!
