Regardless if they are related by blood or not, it was obvious Dimitrescu cared for her daughters/acolytes from trailers and early game play onward. I say "acolytes" because I wasn't sure if they were a sisterhood of vampire-witches or a family of vampires modeled after Dracula and his three brides, pre-game release.

Actualy, I think that Lady Dimitrescu was brought to transformation because of the venom on the dagger. Cause Miranda said that "If her regenerative capacities are restricted, She may go rampage on her powers".

I remember that in Miranda's lab there are papers that say that Alcina is able to control her form due to the fast regenerating cells, but if something was to stop those cells, she would lose control just like Moreau. So in this case the dagger with the poison stop the Lady from being able to regenerate, forcing her to transform and that is why we are able to defeat Alcina only AFTER plunging the dagger in her, but is invincible while she chases us in the castle.

I believe the papers implied more that she must drink blood to stabilize her regeneration. In my opinion I think the daggers poison was so potent that she immediately had to try and regenerate it out of her body, but because it was so deadly she had to keep regenerating at an unsustainable rate and without enough human blood she mutated into the dragon monster we fight.

That “Succumb to your despair!!” Line gave me the chills when I first heard it

Dracula has three brides similar to Alcina's three daughters. plus another name for the disease she suffers from is called the Vampire Disease. and finally her mutated form is a nod to the meaning of the name Dracula. it means Son of Dragon a nod not just to Dracula but also to the real historical ruler of Wallachia, Vlad Dracula AKA Vlad the Impaler. his father was a member of the Order of the Dragon his name was Vlad Dracul meaning Dragon so Vlad III his son is Son of Dragon. so in short, Alcina was inspired by Dracula which was inspired by Vlad the 3rd of Wallachia.

To sum it up he basically talks about how Heisenberg may have been exposed to the mold the longest prior to the cadou implementation due to his factories mines (since the megamycyte(?) had been hidden underground) making him less susceptible to the effects. I recommend watching the video though since I might not have explained it very well😅

They still have their human intelligence, but they have lost their memories about their past life when they have become mutants. Flies just their mutant form, like lady's is a mutant dragon. The main body is still their human form. In the letters, they seems like don't use their file form usually, they stick around with their human form if they are not going to attack or hunt someone.

Bc some people don’t know: Bela: blonde and is the oldest Cassandra: brunette and the middle child (rip jeanette!❤️) Daniela: redhead and is the youngest

I literally just stopped watching the explanation video for Village and this came out, so wow. I love this dude's videos and how well he explains them. Also, who else finds his voice strangely comforting? Makes watching the spine tingling horror and the assortment of monsters quite more relaxing.

Watching Caddicarus' RE8 streams, I found out that the Tall Lady cannot follow you into the save room(naturally), even if the door is open So you can just have the door open, and watch her until she leaves. I found that incredibly funny, because I interpreted it as Ethan saying "You can't get meeeee!"

Look, Lady D is cool and all (and let's all admit, she attractive as freak) but, Heisenberg, is the coolest one, like the dude was, a whole metal bender. Had to be the coolest of the four lords. (Moreau being second for me.)

Never paid attention to it, but I appreciate the fact that Ethan isnt a silent protagonist. He’s snarky, makes comments when appropriate, and actually makes sounds you’d expect when getting stabbed in the guts, instead of “hiyaaahh” or “hyuh”

I’m so happy I found your channel. Survival horror & psychological thrillers are my favorite video game genres but sometimes I want to hear the story or the lore without playing the game.. that’s weird I know, because actually playing the game is where the fun is, but there are some games I just don’t want to play, but still want to hear the full story explanation. Then there are games I HAVE played, but I just wanna hear your take on it to see if there’s anything I missed, or hear your explanation to an ending[s] that left me questioning what just happened lol Please never stop your Story Explained series. Ever. Lol

Kind of sad that you defeat the lords for an empty village. The last survivors die because of you bringing a Lycan into Luiza's house and starting a fire that kills those who get away from Leonardo's claws. It's just like Leon taking down Los Illuminados for a village that was already past saving; heck, Miranda infected the citizens the same way that Saddler and Mendez implanted Las Plagas into the villagers in their village: disguising it as a vaccine. *sigh* They weren't really her daughters, but she loved them like her own blood. I guess maybe my thoughts on Alcina Dimitrescu and the three "witch sisters" being a sisterhood of vampiric witches, with Alcina as their leader, were not too far off.

Thanks for this series I don’t really play video games anymore and never spent much on horror games but I love RE lore (I only played RE 2/4/5) so this is a great way of keeping up with the story

Fun fact: lady D was based on a Japanese urban legend called hachishakusama, a spirit who takes the form of a tall woman and kidnaps children, it’s name literally means 8 ft tall
