Sanders may have been the most purely athletic but LT had the ideal combination of similar agility and elusiveness but mixed with blinding fast acceleration and that vision and nose for the paint once they got into the Red Zone. I genuinely think he's the GOAT, I guess Payton would be in this discussion too. LT has the best fake step juke of all time I've said it forever and proof right here - 6:37

My favorite player of all time. In that one season when he seemed unstoppable in 2006 is when I became a life long fan. I was only 11 years old and he was like a legitimate super hero to me. In my opinion he's the 2nd best to ever play the position behind Barry Sanders! I remember in Australia one time my Dad saw a game with me at the rsl or pub and said dam that QB had a nice throw. And I soon later learned that he wasn't a QB. What an insane talent.

One of my favorite players of all time. Almost even made me a Charger fan as a kid living in San Diego but thank goodness in hindsight that I ended up choosing the Rams and Steven Jackson after watching them play the Chargers for some absurd reason when I was that age and stuck with them lol

Good choice. I stuck with the Chargers and we were disgraced with the way they left SD. I don't watch NFL anymore, but I do miss the game.
I love that even when he went to the Jets he still balled HARD. He was maybe my favorite RB of all time just because of his versatility and probably my Jets bias. LT and Thomas Jones were the epitome of thunder and lightning.

Wow what a great blocking multi-pro bowl Fullback Lorenzo Neal. After Neal left, LT couldn't cut it as a singleback, yet he was a great I runningback that could catch and throw the ball so he had more value in that regard. Curiously Turner the Burner had a fraction more yards per carry than L.T. over his career but keeping L.T. was the right move, only the Chargers should have realized he needed a great blocking fullback to keep the motor going.
As a chiefs fan I grew up hating on LT his whole career smh.. now... but now I'm able to admit what I knew all along.. he's one of the greatest running backs this game has ever seen
