Leffen: “Ice Climbers vs Sheik is 60-40”

Its literally like once every 6 years that a sheik fights climbers correctly. Before this theres like 1 June bug set, and an ice set from like a decade ago. I know its only a single game, but ignoring nana and comboing popo is so broken in the matchup

We can't see it, but the streets know that Phil made the checkmate face back at Slime in the callback at 13:30

Anyone know why they played with transformations on?

nintendo has made a statement about cease and desisting any tournaments with modified game files for all smash, and stage transformations cannot be turned off without modification in melee.

Never did I ever think I would be rooting for Leffen in any capacity

With practice it could be, but that requires Leffen to practice Zelda-ICs of all things while already splitting time across 3 games

It 100% is. Leffen just hasn't practiced Zelda. Jmook's Zelda wipes the floor with ICs.

Leffen literally cant say shit to hbox about stalling and quite frankly should apologize for what he's said in the past as this match proved when in a situation where it benefits him he stalled on the platform nonstop... Also, was Leffen able to ban fd at the end or what? Or Why'd zain not take him back there

FD was Leffen's counterpick, not Zain's. Zain chose Ice Climbers as a counter to that map choice. But yes, loser can't counterpick a map they've already won on (whether that map was counterpicked or not)
