Lachlan's role at EF: he's basically their marketing department.

Actually though. Incredible ambassador
Watching Lachlan's crazy adventures on a bike is so inspirational, he is such a breath of fresh air in the sometimes sterile world of bike racing. His approach and mentality towards it keeps it real, it's just me and the bike, regardless of the level you are at or the distance you ride, a great guy.
Lachlan is a huge inspiration to many.. Thanks for doing the podcast with him! Doing that with you Ted is a big complement to the person that you are..
Lachy seems so laid back, on the surface. But there's so much going on underneath! Thanks Ted 👍
Thanks Ted the most informative podcast of the year.

Thanks for listening!
Dude rode the TdF, in reverse, in flip flops, during it, whilst keeping pace with each stage.

He actually beat the pace by couple days
Watching two of my favorite cyclists of all time talking about their lives and perspectives and journeys and personal growth. Wow that’s amazing. One of the best interviews I’ve seen in a long time.
This is great … Ted puts a quarter in and outcomes $3 worth of music. 😂 Lachy is great.
Thanks to both of you for this great episode. I just started watching your vids leading up to unbound as I've been getting ready for a gran Fondo in San Diego area, first on in 10 years. Watching Lachlan's The Divide video motivated me to get out and ride long again. He's an inspiration to riders of all ages and I'm really happy he won last weekend, it felt like we all won with him. Cheers from Southern California, off to Mt Palomar in an hour. 🍻
There seems to be two Lachy's..........The soul rider who just rides hundred of fun relaxed miles...........and the dialed Lachy who has a coach and uses the dialed in skin suit bladder.........

@@TedKing1 Brilliant!!
It’s Friday night after a long week and long day, I was waiting for this podcast to drop and now I get to relax and watch two great legends reliving Unbound, what a perfect way to end a long work week.
Lachlan is a pleasure to listen to. What a G! If you want to see the future of Gravel Racing. World Cup MTB could be a good reference as to where it might end up. Started NORBA racing in 1988…now look at where it is today.
Fantastic conversation, fellas. I've never raced a day in my life and loved every minute of this discussion. Thanks Ted and Lachlan.
Two favorite dudes I’ve never met. Awesome podcast! Lachlan appreciating the experience of the non-pro finishers confirms what I have always suspected about him. Really made me smile knowing he appreciates some old hack like me.

He comes across as a genuinely good dude who is also able to “flip the switch” when he needs/wants to.
Love hearing "older" riders put their experiences into perspective.
Wow! That was fantastic!
I thought this would be good - and it was......Lachlan always gives great, considered answers.
Wonderful interview. Thank you both for letting us listen in ✌️

The two guys you definitely want in the same room. Bravo! Appreciate the insight and upload.
Watching Lachlan win was amazing. I'd feel the same watching you win Ted! Go get it! But also have deep respect for the process of trying!

Interesting fact. Port Macquarie is named after ...Lachlan Macquarie.
Recent winner of a local race thanked his 2 teammates who were there just to work for him. Looks like team racing in gravel is already here.
If amatures can race it will be fine - if you start having pro only races with no chance of general participation it will just be dirty road racing.
Australian (kangaroos not Mozart)100%…respectfully, not quasi American (not that there’s anything wrong with that)…great vlog…congrats.
I think Gravel racing has the potential to absorb any “elitism” or “marginal gains” mentalities purely for the sake of what it is. Dirty, extremely hard routes, and sometimes it’s just for weirdos. It’s much closer to, say, ultramarathon running or cyclocross in that way, than triathlons or road racing. There will be world tour teams trying to butt in on the craze, but people will still hold their local chill semi-competitive gravel fondos and stuff.
Trans continental next
Sorry Ted but Lachlan is my favorite male rider, but you’re a close second.
the 2024 race is the turning point for the 'team' escalation, which is a shame.
