Something you didn't mention in the video all of Devl Man is a time loop. Every new manga, anime, movie or whatever of Devil Man is just another loop. God trapped Satan in this time loop hoping he will learn humanity. Evangelion does the same thing with its various continuities.

In the version of the manga i read Satan at the end explains that he won his war against heaven and killed God, the fight did weaken the demons though, so they went into hybernation, but in the meantime life continued to evolve and humans came into being. When Satan and his demons woke up they found their hone infested by this new invasive species, and decided to do some pest control. Only at the end Satan understood that he was doing the same mistake God did with the demons.

So for satan looking angelic. While I see the angle of the devil man being the good guy.

Devilman is one of the many true superhero tales, they're not shallow stories and they acknowledge even the most overlooked and normalized things people are willing to do, regardless of topic.

Human sexuality comes in two categories: hetero and political. Seriously though, I tend to interpret Devilman as a Cold War parable, where there are two sides separated by ideology ultimately destroying each other. The original story tends to hit you with showing you the humanity within the demonic, and the demonic within humanity. My big galaxy brain take partially informed by the Devilman Lady manga is that the solution is for mankind and demon kind joining forces to defeat God for their own self-determination.
