I thought they just came out! Lmaooo
What makes these pickups so awesome is not only that it has an awesome overdriven sound but the cleans are crystal clear.
I'm putting these in my Tele. NO RAGRETS

+Leon Bug Masso Diaz How'd it turn out? Satisfied with the sound? I'm considering purchasing these but skeptical of the brand.

submissivelover I really like em, they turned out great, I'm satisfied, running them into my marshall, after going Boss GT-10, They're real punchy if you want them to be

Leon Bug Masso Diaz Are they really what they advertised? I assume you've read all the Lace Jargon about them being uniquely clear and articulate unlike any pickup ever Are they mostly hype? Thanks for Responding btw ;)

+submissivelover I just got a set, too. They actually are everything Lace promises them to be. I want them in all my guitars. Fat and warm like a humbucker, clear with a great attack like a single coil. Seriously a no compromise type of pickup. They're heavy and articulate enough for metal, but sound big and round clean, and with a little bit of gain they don't get thin or papery like other pickups. I would go with a Deathbucker in the bridge, though, for more even output between the neck and bridge positions.

+submissivelover Actually it's just two alumitones, but the concept and character of the tone is the largely the same. Deathbuckers just have a bit more output, tighter bass response, and more aggressive mids. I would go with an alumitone in the neck and a Deathbucker in the bridge because I like the neck and bridge volumes to be the same without having to tweak the pickup height.
I own these pickups...been playing with them for over 1.5 years now...and the damned output is almost twice as loud as normal passive pickups...gain saturates much easier...so we don't have to go all the way with the gain to get a nice, tightly saturated tone. the tone is unique on its own...awesome for djent, groove or most other kinda metal genres...totally digging it ;) PS - Not forgetting the most important thing...THEY ARE FUCKIN' DEAD QUIET!

This riff is so insane, it hits so well.
Still my favorite riff you've ever written
Brutiful.
I've been looking for this song.... I don't know why but it's been stuck in my head for a month. Very well done and I look forward to buying the pickups for experimentation soon.
And the intro theme from here on out! xD
1-11-11-1-1-1-1-1-1 chug da da weeeewrrrrw!
Can listen to it all day ... even today, the 20th of 2nd 2020.
Stopped by yet again to hear the fury. My GAWD THAT TONE!!!!!!!!!!!
Still LOVE This tone. Every time I come back, it's just SKULL CRUSHING!!!
That riff is awesome, and the pickups sound great too
Had these pickups recommended to me today, thanks for the high quality clip man, I love the sound of this bad boy!
Wish more people made pickup demos like this. Well done with the separations...
this is my favourite riff of yours, I think, and maybe ever. I've never been rlly into the chug-heavy high fidelity stuff (bein more of a osdm/caverncore/noise luvr) but that, like, DUN DUUHNNN DUH-DUHN, god daaaaaaamn, its so eldritch and monolithic and otherworldly. I love it. Well done.
Always loved this riff. Pickups sound killer as well!
Amazing riff, absolutely amazing.
Years later still brutal to the max on tone.
that's the way to play metal and make it enjoyable, simple, nice, warm and still be metal at all ... YOU'RE THE MAN
These were EXACTLY what I have been searching for! Sick groove also! All hail the chug!
WOW. Just PERFECT tone. Best I've heard to be honest. I"m shocked and amazed by these pickups. The KRUNCH is just SICK!!!! Great playing as a bonus!!
I use the 7-string, normal size version of this in the bridge and a regular Alumitone in the neck. Great balance, tone and versatility. You can literally cover anything with them if you have a split pot.
Such a perfect tone!
Those might be the best pickups I've EVER heard.
Really digging the percussive palm mute technique with these.
gorgeous sounding!
They sound great, very well defined sound. I was considering these to replace the stock pickups in my guitar, and you just sold me on them. Thank you, kind sir
Listening again, it's just a perfect tone IMHO. So very freaking METAL. Sounds like grinding gears almost. Just BARUUUUUTAL. Cheers!
That drop into the raw tone blew my mind!
Sold love the tone these put out
Epic demo bro, and nice, tight playing. Thanks!
love the new style ya filmed this in and the riff was bad ass... nice pickups
That's one hell of a right hand you have there, Bruce. Getting that seriously dug in crunch with perfect muting.
This riff is just great.
I still come back to listen to this.
wow! pretty distinctive sound
Great demo video, thanks a lot.
Great video Ryan. Sounds so good.
I still love this jam!
Great mix, pickups sound killer
SWEET Demo - thank you. Deff gonna get a set of these Lace units.
sounds awesome man!! love the tone!
Nice playing! Very clean and amazing guitar tone.
awesome riff
WOW. LOVE that tone. Just BAAARRRUUUUTTAAALLL! Got to try the deathbucker.
It's truly ridiculous how awesome this sounds! \m/ \m/
That all makes sense. Thanks for the info
still a great video. love that intro man. and those bends .....damn.
Such a friggen jam!!!!
lovely main riff
Very nice, very clear. Thanks alot.
I don't know how many times ive watched this video this week, but i know its a lot. This tone is literally nearly exactly what im going after. My go to pickups at the moment are a SD Full Shred or an 18v in the bridge but I was able to find a Deathbucker for cheap online. Thanks for the video Fluff. I dont normally rely on youtube videos for decisions, but this just sounded so damn good
Dude, this video made me buy these pickups! Sick man......fucking sick... I'm diggin the riff you came up with as well!
Holy dude you have really phat and great tone. Keep up those beefy chops
MAN!! AWESOME! THANK you for the fast response!
Oh wow..I'm sold
My face is melted from that..
excellent .
very nice fluffy one, good gritty sound.
Sick xD ... I knew this was gonna be good from the title alone. Thanks
never heard the intro to this song before yet i knew exactly what was coming!
Much respect.
I've always wondered about the Alumitones -- any aluminum-based pickup, really. Great demo, Fluff. I'm impressed with them. Like you say, clear and crisp, while staying fat. Not harsh at all. I'm assuming they're really light. No coils!
😮i love listening to this.
Way to rock that Schecter axe! I own the Hellraiser C1 & it loves to riff up some metal and it even sounds great for some classic rock ass shit too. Way to go man! Nice sound!
JESUS! THAT SONG IS AMAZING
super heavy sound.. i think im sold and am gonna put the in my custom les paul special . Also cool to see a new design.. thanks
hahaha AWESOME riffs Fluff.... These pickups are badass.... And your riffs....
Over 5 years later, and I still cant get over how awesome the riff at 1:01 is haha
These things sound so bright for having this much power
you have really good talent man that is cool
Sick harmonics
This riff...fuckin love it dude

+TheWonderfulMisterNoob so your agreeing with metalgears?if so good, because he is correct. this is a simple song, its easier to know your playing it wrong(OR RIGHT) by playing it along with the original track and looking at how its actually played properly with your eyes.Tabs tend to be constantly inaccurate and dont really give you a sense of feeling like learning from watching does.you can see notes he accentuates easily by eye. honestly by tab ,not so much.(there's a shit ton of wrong, brutally inaccurate tab out there)

+wayne smith funny thing is ,the easier songs are the ones that are usually wrong lol. You go into the more complex songs and they tend to be almost perfect in some cases.

@utooberblooper
8 жыл бұрын
+CleverDjembe count the strings, see if you have the same amount of them on your guitar. if you do,awesome.if you dont, adjust accordingly using the 6th string on ryans guitar as a baseline. tune your lowest string to his lowest string, then continue until your done.play a d chord, and see if it matches when ryan is playing a d chord.pause if you need to.
Sounds pretty good bud, like the tone and the song
I found the tutorial thanks for responding so quickly bad ass jam as always!
oh man...time flies by. How old this video already is. Feels like i have watched it yesterday. Hello in again 2023 \m/
i have the deathbucker in two of my guitars and they are great!
Thank you.
So freaking groovy dude
You have me set on these for my les paul. thanks fluff
Still the best heavy tone heard in the last year. Yeah man. We should try writing.
i like this pick up
thank you
You Phat Phuck. Subscribed! Regards from the UK
yep that tune.
love your videos fluff :)
The intro is born!
Heavy as hell
How far you've come!
I love the sound of my EMG 81/85's, so man if I could find a passive that was close to that combo I'd be so happy

Check out the Dimarzio Deactivators, they're the closest match passive pups I've found to the 81/85s you get a bit more string noise with em though so might wanna use a string dampiner if you don't already.
ok I thought of having heard him somewhere else! your video its really cool i wait for the next ;)
Got me head banging over hear mate.=B-D
Not only do I wanna learn to play the RG&B theme now, but I wanna look into these Deathbucker pickups
That is kick ass. nuff sed.
Dude, been watching your channel for a while and this is the best damn tone I’ve heard! I have Black Winter pickups in my ESP Viper, my best guitar, and terrible tone. These pickups sound killer - I want that girth I had from the classic 57 pickups I had in my old lp but with just a little more cut/bite/attack. I’m also looking at the Bill Steer pickups
