Made my lace masterboard yesterday. Let glue dry all night. Machine stitched it today and cut it into tags, pockets, etc. Looks great. I die cut white butterflies, hearts, etc. today to add to my embellishments to decorate. I'm going to do some bead embroidery on some lace appliques next, to add too. Pearls & montes. I'm working on 4 journals right now. So I will be making more so they can go in them all. These ARE very addicting. I watched this video 4X so I could get ideas on embellishments. I forget so quickly!! This has become one of my very favorite videos now!!! Thx for the lace masterboard & ephemera idea. And the great videos. You are a great teacher!! Thank you! Austin,TX USA

@@ATraceofSparkle Honestly, I can't believe I've never seen anyone do this before!!! Its so junk journal PERFECT!!! And can go vintage, grungy. or shabby chic. I finished one big tag with a fussy cut ballerina from a coffee table NY Ballet book. Gorgeous photos. Its for my BFF who did ballet as a girl & teen. She and I both love the ballet. So I bought the book used online for $3!!! Free shipping. Perfect condition. 0h, SNAP!!! I don't think it was ever even opened. I got some gorgeous gold blingy trims from Sheila that really add to the lace tag. WOW!!! I think its the prettiest tag I've ever made!!! I could sit and do more lace masterboards for hours. I will at least do 2 more, for now. THANK YOU so much for this wonderful video. Everybody needs to see it!! I'm going to share it with many of channels I watch and know. Just finished my first 2 journal cards from my lace masterboard. They are so pretty. I crocheted a small white cross with doily thread and put it on, and added a lace flower I beaded. It looks so pretty. I obviously didnt make a BIG enough masterboard. So I need to make another one soon! I got 1 large, 1 medium, and 4 small journal cards. So it must have been much smaller than yours. But I cleaned my desk so now I have lots more room. Thx again for the wonderful idea. Austin,TX USA

This is one of my favorite videos! Looks so fun and can’t wait to try it! Being a lace addict, it will be especially exciting! I have a question…..after making a lace master board, are you pleased with using tacky glue, or would you use some other kind of glue? Thought I might as well ask since I’m going to make one. Thank you Rebecca! Yes I am happy with the tacky glue. It barely has a sheen through the lace whereas the fabri tac is a bit shinier through the lace. Xoxo ~Jenifer
