    If husband and wife are for example in Central Government Railway employee. Husband and wife for working in railway hospital wife get palatak attack on duty and husband is there in duty are they eligible to get the compensation job for her son or daughter

    Whether,, this act is applicable to all industries irrespective of number of workers or any minimum requirement of number of workers eg industry where more than 100 workers r Working etc.

    The Employees Compensation Act applies to the following entities are listed below: 1. It applies to employees working in factories, mines, docks, construction establishments, plantations, oilfields and other establishments listed in Schedule II of the Employee’s Compensation Act. 2. It applies to persons recruited for working abroad and who is employed outside India as in Schedule II of the Act. 3. It applies to a person recruited as the driver, helper, mechanic, cleaner or any other in connection with a motor vehicle and to a captain or other member of the crew of an aircraft. 4. Also, the act does not apply to the members of armed forces of the Union & Workmen who are covered under ESI (Employee State Insurance) Act. And there is no requirement such as 100 mentioned in Schedule II of the act.
