I live in the Philippines. I live in the mountains outside of Silay City. About two weeks ago, I was looking up at the stars. All of a sudden, I saw a bright white light that only lasted a few seconds. The bright white light appeared 15 seconds later in the same spot. It appeared that disappeared. If you look at the mouth of a gold fish. It was round and white. It only lasted a few seconds. I don't know if this was a supernova or not. But I had never seen anything like this before.

It can’t be a supernova explosion, since those last more than a week

@@FleeTheObbyist You are right. After reading more about it. I realize I didn't see what I thought was a Supernova. But what I did see was not normal.

I saw that same thing In US Illinois about 6 weeks ago, in northern sky, it looked like a flash bulb going off lasted about a second, wasn't a meteor too high in the sky.

@Jeff-re1gp I am glad I wasn't the only one that saw it. Like I keep saying, it sure wasn't normal.

The sky is usually overcast when there's a celestial event. It was cloudy during the eclipse. I miss meteor showers, because it's usually cloudy 😢

Not quite as excited as I was to see totality for the first time this past Monday (the full 4:22 centerline!), but sure, let me know as soon as it happens... and I'll certainly take a look!

If we can see this nova in 2024 that means ,that this nova has happened 3000 years ago
