Let's look at this ash as a blessing from God. This is a time to prepare our land for hightened fertility! How is it Barbados is the major one to get the downpour to enhance our soil. Let's go back to the beginning; we were known for our crop: sugar cane, yet let's not stop there. Why not cultivate the land since we can no longer depend on tourism? Let's do more than 25% pertaining to agriculture but be a driving force as in the days of Joseph. Till the land when the dust settles, so we can operate from the overflow in the event of famine in times to come! We can use our crops to help nations.

Yes, the benefits will outweigh the negatives in the long run as far as the land being more fertile! People need to plant more crops after everything settles. However, at this time we need to try to help each other as best as we can 🙏🙏🙏

@@beverleyhusbands4821 Yes, there is a time for everything as Ecclesiastes 3 says. Our land already has such unique fruit with excellent health benefits: soursop for cancer, bajan cherry for anticancer potential, metabolism, guava leaves for helping with menstrual cramps, pawpaw for curing ulcers. Instead of taking the ash to a garbage heap, preserve it and when the time is right use it to produce the fruits God blessed us with. In a world where there are contaminating our products we can be the monopoly for pure, and naturally mineralized fruit. Lets be good stewards of the showers of blessings God is giving us ;o)

@@sophiab8806 yes I hope the powers that be store this ash for future use. I did hear in one of the press conferences that people should put some of the cleanup in their gardens if they have one!

@@beverleyhusbands4821 Good! To be honest this is also a warning...we have been protected from natural disasters for decades. What have we done in the season of grace Christ gave us? Did we thank Him, Serve Him or even repent by our lifestyles? He has given us resources to live on and the first thing we can do is wuk-up. Lets check the fence we are straddling and build a solid foundation on the rock of God. Either way we are building a spiritual kingdom, lets repent and choose today to build The Kingdom of God

What will the long term an short term effect ash will have on engines cars trucks generators ect. I know all engine have air filters air intake air ways . I would of love to hear from someone for nasco, carbin , any one that can share some insight

Would be good to collect this ash bag and sell it for soilmix overseas ....send special garbage trucks out....Also build up the shallow Barbados soil with the ash ...hoping it's not sent to the garbage dump but to the areas of agricultural land !!!!
