I was around for the eruption in 79 and clearly this eruption is much worse than that one. What I find with the clean up is that you have to be cleaning non stop. I hosed down my veranda and drive way and would you believe it about an hour later, you could not believe that water went any near them. It's just horrible; I really do sympathize with our brethren in St Vincent, because if it is so bad here, it has to be much worse there.

I live in the south of St Vincent and honestly the ashfall in that area is not too bad. It was horrible on Saturday. It rained on Sunday and washed a lot of it away and no issues since. I'm grateful for that because I tend to have sinus issues and I can'tttt

Well damn 😔 been following this since it happened and its like everytime it clears up it starts again

...it is a bid of a nightmare to clean all of it up....but we hope by Christmas it will be done....

My sis and brothers......i do pray for this clouds of darkness to disappear from the atmosphere in Jesus name.... our hope is secured in Jesus Name....... things is One after de others......this journey in This Life......the answers is to don't lose Hope in Jesus..........and when it over.....the people That Never Wake up....... Will say....the Times has come for we to Wake up.....and focus... caused life is very nice precious.... Prayer ar continue.....24hours a Day.....for Barbados.......st vincent....and st.lucia......grenada.....etc.....!!

Try not to drive a vehicle while ash is falling if the ash gets in the engine it will destroy it make sure your intake filter is kept clean. Good luck

Whoever thought that Barbados would be affected by this volcanic eruption!!! People repent of your sins. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. Turn to the Lord, He is the only one who saves us.
